A nice sized shaker, but it is definitely not a great everyday item. The cylinder in the middle of the shaker is what you fill up to freeze and make the shaker cold. However, if you want to just grab this and mix a cocktail with ice it's almost impossible to do so as you have to try and make sure the ice doesn't get in the way of sealing it because of the built in cylinder. It'd be perfect if you could remove it as desired.

Great shaker. Doesn't water down the drink. Although the lid is hard to get off. Its a good product.

I was looking for something to mix certain cocktails. When this shaker came on sale as a deal of the day, I picked up two of them. I was surprised to discover that it has an outer shell that holds water to be frozen before the operation of the shaker. There is a 6.5 Oz center core that holds the mixing ingredients. The rubber grip keeps the hand from being cold while operating. If you don't make many mixed drinks, it will take up freezer space that you might need for other things (or just mix the ingredients warm.)

Amazing built. Just beware that this is not a Boston shaker. Read instruction before buying it. But other than that this is great. It does not dilute the drink with the water.

Capacity is one drink only. The concept of surrounded by ice sounds good, but in reality it doesn't work. It's more of an inconvenience than an aid to mixing drinks. I'm using mine as a planter to grow some herbs indoors.

I was able to use it but I’m not a big drinker and wanted this for my bar but it has an inside cylinder that wasn’t what I expected, I should have read the description more carefully. For someone is familiar with their way around a bar I’m sure this would be perfect.

This makes your drinks as cold as possible. My only complaint is that it takes so long to freeze, it makes it impossible for quick last minute get togethers.

This is not a traditional shaker and while the idea of a frozen base sounds great it does not really work.

Gave as a gift and my buddy really like using the shaker for cocktails.
