Does the job, most of the time.

Have successfully played most DVDs and most Blu-rays but I run into some Blu-rays that do not seem to play properly and freezes the frame and cannot be restarted without a total shutdown of the software.

PowerDVD 18 Ultra Software works great.

I attempted Real Player purchased software, but there were non-stop issues, and their customer service couldn't provide solutions, so I was refunded. I purchased this software, and it works PERFECTLY. The movies I watch with my laptop are with HDMI color and clarity.

Skip Windows Media Player...use this instead...

Best buy was having a sale on this program which I highly recommend! There are extra features that will enhance your media enjoyment. Will also play Blu-Ray if you have a DVD Blu-Ray drive. Better than Microsoft WIndow's Media Player!

Great DVD movie media player

Good for watching your favorite movies in your lap top or PC and also if you have many collections of memorable pictures of your family. You can use this software to organize your family pictures by dates, events.

Problem is you half to have a built-in blu-ray drive or a blu-ray player for a computer. You can get one at Amazon,Best buy, or Dell ect..

Bought for Desktop PC

Software Thoughts

The software works with all my devices and plays almost any file type including picture and music. Nice interface with a multitude of controls including screen capture of movie frame, zoom and slow motion. If registered, updates are free and easy to download eliminates the need for multiple media programs.

Great DVD/Blu-Ray Player Software

A leader in DVD/Blue Ray Playback for Windows

Fantastic camera
