The Best Backup Unit I I Have Owned!

The perfect backup unit. Good specs, good price, and a must in areas with frequent power outages. Catastrophic data loss from outages is eliminated with this unit. I get 66 minutes of backup power when the power fails. That is way more than I need, but it's good to know that as it ages and the run time drops, I will still have more than enough time to close out my work without loss. Excellent unit at an excellent price!!

Worth every penny! Got this UPS to pair with my i9-13900k, Strix RTX 4080 and Seasonic TX-1300W Titanium ATX 3.0 PSU. Love the display, u can see the wattage, voltage usage and etc. Together with the Power Panel app, u can monitor any event, power spikes and outages which is a BIG help! I'm a happy camper here knowing my expensive rig is very well protected.

This CyberPower UPS 1500 Sine Wave unit is a great back up power supply at a reasonable cost. In additional to the 6 battery powered plugs it has 6 plugs that provide surge proctection. I bought one in December 23 for internet power and liked it so much i bought another one in January 2024 for my wife's Apple desk top. I recommend these!!

I decided to stick with Cyberpower as my previous units always performed well. Setup was easy and the Powerpanel software works well with the unit. I have plenty of runtime with all my computer components connected.

The second one of these I've owned. Allows me plenty of opportunity to shutdown properly in the event of a power disruption. This recently purchased backup has provided useful twice already switching over and allowing shutdown on a decently power hungry rig.

I have a Ryzen powered Ubuntu server that manages my home automation (home assistant) runs my personal cloud of 22 TB (nextcloud) so downtime is unacceptable. Grabbed this and I'm running my network equipment and server off of it. The software included was straight forward and easy to use. The English documentation had a few spelling errors and some of the comments in the config files are confusing, but otherwise went without a hitch. Tested my config by pulling the power and all the scripts and shutdown routines work as expected.

I got this to protect my computer setup from power surges. The last one I had before I got this had fried one of my SSDs. I have not had a power surge since I installed it, so I haven't been able to test how it holds up in a real event yet. The self-test says it is working so I assume it works. It all works great so far, but one thing I don't like is that the outlets are close together. I have a few cords with an AC power adapter which overlaps multiple outlets. I would have liked them to be spaced apart more, or maybe allow the outlets to be rotated to the side of the UPS. There is only 1 on each side that is spaced farther away for these, and the one on the power supply side is close to the ethernet surge protection. The product did arrive with the box damaged, attached photos, but the product itself did not appear damaged. I would have liked to been able to purchase it in store or pick up at the store, but I was only able to ship to my house. The product does have desktop software that logs events, shows the status, energy usage, etc. There is also an app, but I have not downloaded it because it is only a free trial.

Have had no issues, works great, I've seen other's complain of fan noise but when I have it fully loaded pulling 800+watts I can't hear anything from over over the noise of the 10 fans in my computer. No more voltage drop from the Central AC kicking on either!

This power backup is awesome. When my power went out, my computer stayed on, it was great, i could finish what i was doing, before the power ran out. Plugging in your cable modem to the backup keeps the internet working also. (Unless the cable goes out too)

I had purchased two CyberPower 850PFCLCD UPS units about 3 years ago. One is attached to our large-screen Sony flat screen, the other was connected to our router, main computer units, and the other electronics in my home office. About a month ago this second UPS began beeping in the middle of the night. After shutting down all devices, I disconnected the equipment, ordered a replacement battery, and now use that second UPS for our charging units (i.e. iPhones, iPods, Earbud Pros, etc.). I then ordered this CyberPower 1500VA Sine Wave UPS unit to use in my office. This is a fantastic unit, and I'm pleased I upgraded to a more powerful unit - worth the extra cost! Plus I'm not getting a more pure and consistent power load to all my office equipment. It's great that even if power shuts off we can still use the internet (AT&T UVerse) and watch television to get the news. I'm very pleased with this unit and recommend it without reservation.

Excellent UPS Solution with easy instructions and intuitive in device monitoring and controls. Currently have two computers connected to this device and have weathered 3 power outages over the winter so far with excellent results. Alerts are clears and immediate. With current setup the in unit monitoring states my system will have over 35 minutes of uptime after power is cut which to this point I can absolutely vouch for multiple times so far. Absolutely recommend!

True sine wave power backup and line conditioner. True sine wave power provides the most consistent power for all electronics rather than using approximated sine wave (aka digital). Solid and well designed with a display that provides all the information needed including current watt/load ... very helpful in determining power consumption. I use the unit on my OLED TV and DVR and BD players but also have several (3) for my computers around the house.

When the power went out at my home, My computer stayed on, but my Internet was down. I was disconnected from my students. I configured my CyberPower 1500VA for my ultimate system, but I did not think about my overall setup. After I visited the CyberPower website and BestBuy, I was now able to really configure my system. So when the power went out again for 20 minutes in my neighborhood, I was still able to communicate and still teach my students knowing how much time I had left during the whole time. I purchased a 2nd unit - Now I am totally protected.

Seems good so far.Shows power draw some decent features. The warrenty of 500k protection seems fishy at best a lot of red tape per the instructions but I bought it for brown out situations. Don't want to risk my 3090 getting damaged in this gpu drought. Haven't had any outages yet but it feels quality and it replaced my old apc unit that wasn't cutting the mustard and battery died. Time will tell but I like the unit so far.
