I love the NVIDIA Graphics Card, the I9 processor, and the SSD, with 32G of RAM. This computer has made building modules in CAD so much easier and smooth. I saved a lot of money on this computer over buying a MAC. It started right up and is instant response on everything I have installed thus far.

Great PC But had some issues

Ok, so I ordered this PC. Two weeks later it arrives. I plugged everything in and get through the initial new Windows setup which took 3 to 5 minutes. The PC shuts itself off. I turn the PC back on and within 10 seconds it shuts itself off again. I could wait 30 min or so and try turning the PC on again and the same thing within 5 minutes shuts itself off turn PC back on within 10 sec turns itself off. Rinse and repeat. I do have knowledge when it comes to PC's but spending this kind of money on a PC it should be right. So I wasn't going to trouble shoot this thing. I packed everything back up in the box and returned it. Best Buy's Geek Squad will not work on these PC's so I had to get a replacement sent to me. Two Weeks later I receive the replacement, again plug everything up. Initial boot up Windows has encountered a problem and needs to restart. After going through several restarts getting the same message. I finally get to the Windows user login. The only option there was Defaultuser0 click on it and it asks for a password. Come to find out after some research. This happens sometimes when windows 10 is installed. Meanwhile still getting random Windows has encountered a problem and must restart messages with Netwtw04.sys. The Netwtw04.sys was the wireless adapter throwing the error. So I reinstalled Windows to fix the Defaultuser0 and updated the Wireless Adapter drivers to fix the Windows has encountered a problem. It's been about two weeks since I received my replacement and fix those issues and everything seems to be running great. Just seems a higher end pc like this should be good right out of the box. Even after all my problems I would still recommend this pc.

    Mine was a lemon

The unit was shipped really quick: placed the order on Thursday, received the "shipped" message on Monday. Well packaged, clean inside, set it up and running in about 15 min. Skipping ahead to the not so good parts: - RAM is advertised as 3000MHz but mine was clocked at 2133MHz - the GPU (MSI 1080 Ti Armor ) was hitting all kinds of throttling in various tests: I got thermal, power and voltage throttling. In Witcher 3 the temp would quickly climb to the limit (84C) and start throttling from that point on. Same story with Unigine Valley/Heaven benchmarks: lower scores compared to similar systems because of GPU throttling. Most probably a defective GPU. I could have tried adding more case fans, maybe the temps would have gotten lower, but in the end I decided not to bother and just return the system.

Great Computer, only one minor "issue"

Honestly, I've done my best to try and find a fault with this desktop and I can't. The biggest "con" would be the Realtek 8812AE installed as the network adapter, as it had a hard time connecting with my Wi-Fi extender about forty-five feet away. Truthfully, I wouldn't consider this to be a fault of the computer though, as being listed as a desktop implies you'll be using a direct connection more so than a wireless connection. Not only that, but my home has never had the best internet connection for some strange reason, so I'm not going to count this as the computer's fault. Simply buy a Wi-Fi extender and place it nearby (generally about ten feet) and you'll be fine. Other than that snag, I haven't experienced any other issues with this computer. I waited about a month to write this review to give myself an unbiased opinion of the desktop, and during that time I've thrown all sorts of games, programs, and anything else I could think of to stress this thing, and it's run just fine. Really worth the money.
