Professional media needs exceptional tech. The SSD drive allows work to begin in 20 seconds. Time is money. Windows 8.1 is a learning curve. Spend a little more and get 500 gb SSD. Fast processor and 4gb graphic card enable confidence. This is my 3rd CyberPowerPC. I knew what I wanted and will buy another when needed.

Owner of an Xbox One and Ps4, got tired of having no games to play. Ordered this computer for around $1700 after not owning a computer since Win 98. After getting used to the computer style gaming, I am ready to give up my XBO and PS4, this computer will play at full quality (1980 x 1080) (television) on the following without hiccups: Sims 3 and 4, Killing floor 2, Cities Skyline, Mass Effect 3, Borderlands 2 and a few others.... I have had a few crashes though after modding Sims 4, but was notified that some of the content i downloaded wasn't included in the dlc I have which i believe is the problem. Even with that this boss of a computer still runs the game and I have spent many hours leveling my sims! I haven't installed any of the newer more demanding titles, but watching gameplay in 1080p looks amazing and beats both the ps4 and xbox one hands down. The 2 TB hd is awesome and it will be a very long time before I need more space.

If you need serious horsepower , this is the way to go. The solid state drive rocks, makes for fast boot times . Install your favorite apps there for fast start times as well.

The first thing I did after opening the box is inspect what's inside. I understand this may not be typical of this model, because you never know what parts the manufacturer may have available, but I'm just writing about what I got. It has an ASUS motherboard, a toshiba HDD and a SanDisk SSD, a Corsair 800W power supply. Good stuff there. The only thing I am uneasy about is the msi video card. So far though, it has performed very well. I play my games on near the highest settings, and this rig doesn't hiccup at all. I played Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4 Beta, Company of Heroes 2, Rome II, Shogun II and more. Everything runs without a glitch. Well, Battlefield 4 Beta has its glitches, but that's why its a Beta. Another thing I didn't like was the fact that the motherboard didn't have 5.1 audio hookups. So as soon as I realized that, I drove back to Best Buy and picked up a Creative sound card. So far, it sounds amazing. Overall, it's a great purchase. I got it for a good price, it runs silent, fast, looks great, and sounds great as well.

Bought this computer - would not recognize the dvd drive. After opening it up Again (must be opened initially to remove packing material) found the cable to the dvd drive unattached. Booted it up the next day to find the OS (Win 8.1) was corrupted and unable to be corrected. Contacted tech and they suggested return of the computer.
