I wasn’t sure how Cyberpunk would run on the Switch 2, but the Ultimate Edition completely exceeded my expectations. The game looks sharp, the performance is smooth(ish), and the world of Night City feels huge even on a handheld. CDPR definitely put in the work to make this version feel polished. The story is one of the best parts. The characters feel real, the choices actually matter, and the missions kept me hooked the whole time. Even the smaller side quests have a lot of personality. It’s the kind of game where you can log in planning to play for ten minutes and end up exploring for hours. The Switch 2 version holds up well in both handheld and docked mode. The lighting, reflections, and overall detail look better than I expected for a portable system. Combat feels responsive, driving is smooth, and I haven’t had any major bugs or issues so far. Load times are pretty fast too, which makes jumping between areas and missions easier. The Ultimate Edition includes everything, and having the DLC built in adds a ton of extra content. Phantom Liberty alone feels like its own full game. I’ve already sunk a lot of hours into it and still feel like there’s more to do. Overall, this is a great version of Cyberpunk 2077. If you skipped it at launch or just want to experience the complete edition with all the updates and DLC, the Switch 2 port is absolutely worth playing. The story, the world, and the gameplay make it easy to get lost in for hours.
