First of all, you're not going to get the premium experience you would on a PS5. The Switch 2 does however give you a very playable experience. While docked and sitting on the couch away from the TV, the main obvious difference is the frame rate. However, the game really shiens in portable mode. With the performance setting giving a very presentable performance and letting you play anywhere you want, it's great to just pick up your switch and play whenever and wherever you want. On top of that with cloud saves you can easily switch between the Switch 2 version or any other. You can easily play on the PS5, and then when the TV is occupied pickup your switch and continue where you left off. If you enjoy the game and want the freedom to play in portable mode then I highly recommend.

Cyberpunk on Switch 2 is the version I’ve always wanted: the full Night City experience, but portable. The game looks surprisingly sharp on the handheld screen, with good lighting and detail, and performance has been smooth enough that I forget I’m not on a high-end console most of the time. There are a few moments where you can tell the resolution dips during busy scenes, but gameplay still feels responsive thanks to Nvidia DLSS upscaling. This, and Star Wars Outlaws are two of the most impressive looking ports on the Switch as of 2025. All the big updates and fixes are here too, so the story, side quests, and builds feel polished and complete. Being able to grind gigs, explore, and tweak my build anywhere is awesome. If you held off waiting for a portable version, this is the one to get.

Whoah (as in Keanu Reeves as Neo in the Matrix). This game is a beast on the Switch 2. Stable game play, amazing graphics considering the hardware in the Switch 2. A full battery will last about 2.5 hours running this game. And that’s actually pretty good considering how stable the game runs with low wattage for the frames per second. I’m in disbelief as I play this game on the Switch 2. I own in on Xbox Series X, and it does play better there and it looks better. But surprisingly, on a smaller screen, I can’t tell too much of a difference. As in, the difference doesn’t hurt my experience. Enjoy.

Originally bought it when it came out on the xbox but with all the issues I never continued. Now I can enjoy it docked or handheld when the TV is being used. Runs great, handheld maybe a few lost frames rarely, but overall smooth experience

I've played this game on both Xbox and PC, and this version is just as fun. While there are occasional performance drops, the overall performance felt more consistent than on Xbox. The image quality is surprisingly good, with the occasional upscaling fizzle, but nothing particularly distracting. The portability puts this as my favorite version of the game though I'm not one of those that's attached to the highest resolutions and framerates from the PC version. This version gives you a content-complete and fun version of the game. It also uses cross save so you can pull in saves from PC or other consoles.

This game is excellent on Switch 2. It may not be a 60 frames per second, but it moves so well and plays so amazing, that I feel like a fool for not picking this game before a certain other overpriced game. But I digress. The graphics are AMAZING, the lighting effects are so very good! I turned off my HDR (personal preference), but even with that on, it looked great! The controls are solid, tight, very responsive, mouse mode really adds a really good level of accuracy and mobility that is very welcome on this FPS game, and will be using said mode more often, ALTHOUGH the Joy Con 2s are uncomfortable as a mouse. But in case that doesn't work for you, using motion controls is a GEAT way to play too. The game itself shows you the best ways to use those motion controls in optimal ways if you play the tutorials, and the customization of your character is quite detailed. I KNOW I will be playing this game for a while, especially because of all the content it has in it. Many side quests and DLC, and so many ways to play it too. Stealth, rambo, a mix of that, it's just amazing!

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2 is a technical marvel, delivering a robust RPG experience on a portable console. Night City’s neon-lit streets and gritty atmosphere shine in both docked (1080p) and handheld (720p/1080p) modes, with a stable 40fps in Performance mode. While not as visually crisp as PS5 or PC versions, the port impresses with minimal compromises, leveraging Nvidia’s DLSS for smooth visuals. Gyro and mouse controls enhance aiming precision, though Joy-Con ergonomics may strain during long sessions. The inclusion of the Phantom Liberty expansion and all updates adds immense value for $70. Minor frame drops and graphical glitches occur, especially in Dogtown, but they don’t detract significantly. For newcomers or portable gaming fans, this is a stellar way to experience Cyberpunk’s deep story and immersive world, proving the Switch 2’s potential for AAA titles.

I already have this on ps5 but I decided to give this a chance. The fact that I can now play cyberpunk where ever I want now without having to bring extra things around is a plus. I will say right off the bat I am impressed with the graphics and the overall gameplay of this game on the Nintendo switch 2. I’m able to get at least 3 hours of play time before I have to charge it up. Another factor for this game is that it comes with the dlc on the game that is something that I did not experience with my original play through on the ps5 that addition was gave more to do in the game. Overall 10/10 game even if it is 3 years old I’m glad it came to the switch 2!

This is a great port of a timeless classic. The Switch 2 edition of Cyberpunk not only holds up very well against other current generation consoles, it’s possibly the best way to play it! Now I do have one gripe, there are certain areas in Dogtown that absolutely destroy the frame rate. Outside of that, I highly recommend this port!

This runs exceptionally well on the Switch 2, which was I think very surprising to many. This game's great, and having the DLC Phantom Liberty included increases the value. If you haven't played this, it's definitely worth a pickup, and the Switch 2 runs it well.

I actually purchased this before at launch for the Series X and got bored. The Switch 2 launch library was a little shallow and I won’t purchase “Key Cards,” unless it won’t fit on a game card, so I gave it another chance. The portability of the Switch 2 allows the game to be more accessible. The graphics are fantastic and the controls for the most part are great. In handheld mode, the gyroscope feature of the Switch makes it a lot easier to aim, however sometimes connected to the TV you might get some involuntary movements. I don’t get the need for having genitalia shown in the game and while the sex scenes are pretty tame, it’s unnecessary. There is a filter to turn nudity off, but then I feel like I’m missing something. I wish there was a filter for language. I imagine I’m in the minority for caring about that.

I was definitely impressed with how well Cyberpunk 2077 runs on the Nintendo Switch 2. I originally picked this up on the day it released for Xbox Series X and it had a ton of bugs at that time, but they've certainly polished all those out. CD Projekt Red obviously wanted to make sure they got this version correct, and it shows. The Ultimate Edition comes with all the updates and the DLC: Phantom Liberty, making it a complete edition and everything you need in one box. The performance and gameplay on the Switch 2 is stable and smooth, which was a welcomed breath of fresh air after my first experience with it's drop a few years ago. It's so nice to go between playing the game in handheld mode when you need to be away from your desk, or home, and then being able to throw it in the dock when you're around and play it on the big screen. The transition is streamless. The gameplay is immersive, with branching storylines based on decisions you make and routes you take. If you like open-world RPGs with a great storyline that allows you to truly make it yours, and has the ability to replay several times to find out all the different endings, then Cyberpunk 2077 is the game for you. Welcome to Night City, choom!

Ive played this game now 3 times PS4 at launch and again on PS5. Playing on the Switch 2 is by far the best experience Ive had with it. Motion and Mouse Controls give this game an outstanding new way to play to an already great experience. ALSO THE GAME IS ACTUALLY ON THE CARTRIDGE.

Entire game on cart, DLC, runs smooth, and portable? Yes, please! Still amazed the CDPR got it done as a day one release and cant wait to take over Night City all over again. Stand out feature is definitely mouse mode, which does need some tweaking in the future to swap back and forth seamlessly.

Played it on XBox Series X. Was wondering how the switch 2 port would hold up. And I must say it’s really good. I’m very surprised how well it plays on Switch 2. Highly recommend getting this for your new Switch 2 library

Played originally in PS5. Got this to see how it compares and I'm impressed. It's definitely not as good on the Switch 2 but it works really well. If this is the only option you have to play this game, it's perfectly fine.

Luckily I skipped this game on other platforms when it initially came out. Now that it’s out on the switch 2 with all the DLC Extras, it makes it all the more welcome. A must have for Switch 2 owners looking to take advantage of Switch 2’s features.

One of the things I both love and loathe ablut hsndheld pcs is you can tweak the performance for the games you play - however that means that you sometimes HAVE to tweak the settings to get a game to work day one. The difference here is, you dont have to do anything. The game is optimized for switch 2, runs tremendously well and doesnt suffer from the bugs that sometimes plague pc games or in this case launch version of console games. The only drawback is the battery life of roughly 3 hrs continuosly (based on my play testing). In short Cyberpunk on Switch 2 is a match made in video game heaven.

After all the launch problems with 2077 to see it running as well as it is on a Nintendo platform warms the heart of this veteran of the console wars. Just a tremendous port and at least as importantly - not a game key card! Love it 5/5
