CD drive didn't work.

In order to get a new one would have to take the machine into the store, do a 20 minute interview (Umm ok) then they would determine if they would or could replace it, then i would have to leave it and they would tell me for how long and then come back and pick it up. Nearest Best Buy is an hour or so away in NO traffic. I bought this product online. Forget that!. I would spend as much in gas to do this as I would to buy and install a new CD drive myself. HORRIBLE options for an online purchase, and at tremendous cost for me, when it's their defect. Should offer to let me send the whole machine back, or send me the drive for free if I'm willing to install. EITHER of those options are less expensive on both parties than what they suggested. Paying a store employee to do a 20 minute interview that you know ends up being an hour once they finish their report on the 20 minutes and then have to log in the computer that they're going to take in, and then whoever fixes it on top of that... when it would take literally 5 minutes to install the piece in a factory setting for employees you probably pay less to... What stupidity... Should have just purchased through amazon. they would have taken the whole computer back and I wouldn't have had to waste my gas money. Choosing to be CD driveless instead, unfortunately. Good thing most things are digital download these days, but there goes my DVD collection watching :/

Great computer for teen gamer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The first computer we ordered (Cybertron) was defective but I had no issues with returning the computer to the store and the customer service and geek squad helped me to pick out another computer (IBuyPower) for my daughter. So far, everything is going great and we are able to play games that just would not run on our dinosaur!
