This was a great buy because Apple attaches minuscule cords to their devices. The length is perfect and it works.

10 Gbps reduced to 5 Gbps for iPhone

I used this cable between a Windows 10 computer's USB A 3.1 10 Gbps port and an iPhone 15 pro. When using the computer's USB A 3.1 10 Gbps port, the iPhone connected and disconnected over and over again. I could not use the 10 Gbps port. I do not know if this is the fault of the cable, the computer, or the iPhone. When I used the computer's USB A 3.0 port, the iPhone had to be told to allow the data transfer, which is reasonable. Then, the iPhone disconnected one more time before finally transferring data from the computer to the iPhone and charging the iPhone. Using the computer's USB A 3.0 port caused the transfer speed to reduce from 10 Gbps to 5 Gbps. However, 5 Gbps is better than the 480 Mbps cable that Apple provides.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
