Ok if you are a literature fan, but otherwise, the learning curve might take away from the movie if you have trouble understanding the odd behavior. Also, the language may take some getting used to...

Updated telling of one of Shakespeare's lesser known works, is a very violent movie. More so than his other works. If you're an action thriller fan, this is right up your alley.

The movie seemed kind of weird because the way they were talking as if they were in ancient times but than had cell phones and laptops.

If you do not like William Shakespeare you will not like this movie. It is a modern spin on a Shakespeare play.

Couldn't get through it all. I'm just not artsy enough. I suppose you need to be a Shakespeare fan to really enjoy this movie

This movie is based on a Shakespearean play and is hard to follow. The packaging doesn't really relay this information

I lost interest after 5 minutes and have not finished the movie yet. I don't like the way it was scripted or shot.

This movie is SOOOO bad they should have taken it back and paid me for the troubles....!!! Why did they have these actors all talking like 17th century English? It is a pain to just watch the first 5 minutes (which was all I could stomach!) Don't give me some stupid explanation that it is a play on Shakesphere (sp?), The movie was just out and out HORRIBLE.

Overall this movie just didn't do it for me. It wasn't what I thought it would be.

Not sure I like a modern day story played out in Shakespeare style. Hard to stay interested.

To listen to old English dialogue in a modern setting with no idea what the story is crazy. The only thing I thought it was "Romeo and Juliette" done very,very badly I didn't even finish the Blu Ray. A total waste of money!!

I can say this may be critically acclaimed and has great actors,but the plot is the worse I saw in a year or maybe my life. The cast was great, but quoting Shakespear to gangsters for 2 hours was a horrific.

I understand that the movie was to have a Shakesperian type of setting, but with actors and actresses of great quality like those in the movie, couldn't you made it better? The entire movie sucked!

This was a good production of Shakespeare. Ethan Hawke does a good job, though his Hamlet was a better performance.

Thought it would be a gangster type movie. Was not. They all talked like from a Shakespeare play. Turned it off after 10 minutes.
