This is one of Dlink's best IP cams. It's HD clarity is amazing. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because a few times the camera lost connectivity - but it's still version A1 of hardware and relatively new firmware. The App works great with the camera.

Two way Audio doesn't seem to work that well. But video is awesome. Really good wide angle.

We have a Siberian Husky who live up to the reputation of being an escape artist. Needing a way to monitor him, I researched all kinds of web-connected security cams. This one fit the bill - free web access (lots of these cams require a monthly fee), as well as a MicroSD slot to continuously store recordings. It was the best of other models all rolled into one, and at a cheaper cost than many, such as Nest. The biggest negative is it's relatively weak wifi receiver. The camera is mounted near the top of my basement steps, so yes, it's behind a thin door, but that's it. I have a strong AC1900 router @ 30 ft from the camera, and it sometimes struggles to keep a connection. Getting constant alerts from the app that my camera is disconnected is a little troubling. I have found it's more stable on the 2.4Ghz band than the 5.0, so I leave it there. As of this review, I have had the camera up and running with no disconnects for 7 days.

I can check on my dog at home and voice chat with him, the picture is great, I really love this camera, no problems!

We bought this camera to be used as baby monitor. The reason why we chose this over other cameras was the feature to put in an SD card to record rather than store it in cloud via wifi (which may use a lot of our internet bandwidth). We use it every night in our baby's room and it works well in the dark. We get notifications when any motion is sensed.

Once this camera is setup it provides a great image in day or night conditions. I'm running it through the ispy program saving to NAS for some long storage times. Initial setup of the camera using the mobile app is not the best setup method but can see why they chose it to make it easier for most people. I am satisfied with this camera and would purchase again.

This cam really works with 180 degree angle, high quality video and picture as well. Easy to connect with my phone. I love the auto recording, with 128G micro SD, I can retrieve any moment I want. Do not need dedicate-computer, just Internet, wifi and it starts working and do not affect the speed of wifi in my house. I totally please with my purchase

This item is very clear and also has sound. 180 degree view.

I purchased this camera to keep an eye on my apartment when while I was on vacation. Setting up was easy, and for more tech-savvy people the camera has a UI that allows to set up many features. The basic set up allows to install the camera, activate sound and motion detections, and live view. Advanced features allow you to set up notification emails, recording, and much more. For my needs of remote monitoring and intrusion detection, this camera works great. My apartment is small so I can cover most of it with a single camera. Night vision is also a nice feature too. The remote access works over wifi and cellular, and it does not require any monthly fee. If you install an SD card on the camera you will have access to recordings remotely.

The only way to connect this to the router is via WPS, which is insecure. I own other D-Link cameras (DCS 933L, 932L), and they have ethernet connections, in addition to wi-fi. This way I can both enter the wi-fi password securely, and have the choice to connect it via wi-fi or cable.

Good camera, fairly simple setup, app could use a little work.

I already own several D-Link security cameras. This one is high quality and works as advertised.

Nice quality picture on the iPhone app. Easy to use

Primarily purchased to see what our pets do when they're left alone, but the audio and motion detection work great for security purposes as well. Night vision is very clear, and full HD camera is "good" but not great. Still plenty of detail. The app works well to view the live feed and review recorded clips. There are MANY setting to get through, which is good and bad. Definitely get a memory card!

The 180 degree angle of this camera is great, it saves you having to put multiple cameras in the same space. Setup is a bit tricky (hence why only three stars). I had to contact support just to get setup, they walked me through a few steps that weren't on the setup documentation I received. Once it was setup, life was good. Now the only issue I have is I changed out my wireless router recently and I'm unable to reconnect with the camera again.

The camera was easy to set up and it works as expected.

I have the camera stop working/broadcasting and being unstable in wifi. There is no option for 5Ghz, so limited to 2.5.
