I only use it to view an area that it's pointed to. I haven't used the mention sensor feature on it but if I ever want to, I have it available to me with this camera.

its an ok camera but it is not really wireless. It does not need a network cable but it still needs power so for that matter I can run a net cable to it. To me does not make sense to have a wireless am when it still needs wires to work>

I could not make this work without the Dlink router. Immediate return to store.

Great camera, easy setup, out of state family checks in all the time now.

Unfortunately when purchasing the camera and asking the sales representative for help I understood "wireless" to mean no direct ethernet connection requirement. This is not the case. A connection to a modem is required for the initial set up process. Since I do not have this direct access and only a wireless connection I have not been able to use my camera as planned. I called technical support but was offered no solution. I discovered this after the 15 day return policy had expired.

Didn't like took it back 2-3 later didn't come on with motion

I returned this camera. The picture would just stop for minutes at a time. It's possible my internet connection was too slow (I have DSL.) I purchased a Zmodo 4 camera wired system for less than the one Dlink camera and I am very happy with it.

It is easy to use and setup. But if you are like me there are tech like AR004611 who can assist you and walk you through any issues you may encounter. The view is crystal clear.

I purchased this camera last May 2015 and it has been working awesome. The picture is great and I can even view it in full HD on my big flat screen or even from my smart phone. I had to call Mydlink for technical support and spoke with Ford agent# AR004620 and he was so helpful and even was able to network my PC to help me adjust my camera settings and my email connection so my motion detection snap shots go correctly to my gmail. If it weren't for him I would be lost. You have no idea how much better he made me feel once I seen he was successful in adjusting everything once I seen I was receiving my motion notifications perfectly to my email. I recommend Mydlink cameras and there awesome service to anyone out there and this is coming from someone who used to work security surveillance back in the day. They are awesome and they rule!!!

There are some drawbacks, as expected. It's almost necessary to call tech support because the instructions that come with the camera are useless. My Mac is unable to see the 720p from the desktop, but I can see it from my iPhone. Still haven't figured out the 2 way audio, I can hear myself talking TO the monitored area but can't hear anything being spoken into the camera. Overall I'm happy and I plan to buy a full set of D-Link camera's for indoor and outdoor monitoring. When I called tech support I expected it to be a huge hassle, but it wasn't. Even with 2 kids freaking out in the background, my agent managed to smoothly get me to where I needed to be in about 15 minutes, thanks! His ID was #AR004624

Love the camera and love the fact it records to cloud no DVR needed, has great resolution. I don't like the fact it creates a file for every minute and that you can only use up to a 32GB SD card. Excellent customer service from ID# AR004201.

Great support from Agent ID - AR004211. purchased the product with some difficulties setting up. Spoke Ruchel and she walked me thru the setup and the activation. Great support from DLink. Cannot go wrong with Dlink and their support team.

We bought this camera as a baby monitor once our "old school" baby monitor broke. Overall, we really love the camera. It does everything we want it to do, especially the ability to watch the camera from our iPhones or Computers remotely. Setup was a little complicated going by the instructions provided. I have an Apple Express router, and for whatever reason I couldn't initially connect the camera to the router for the initial setup using an ethernet cord. The workaround, use the WPS mode on the Apple Express and boom! You have your setup.

I bought the camera figuring I would have it running in no time. Setting up wired was no problem, when it came to setting it up wireless that was a nightmare. I finally had to contact customer support. I was connected with Kenny with case # C6699185 and was guided thru the process flawlessly. It appears an update for the camera had to be performed. you also MUST use a computer and hook up the camera wired to your router then you can begin the wireless portion. At present everything is working great. Thanks Kenny!!!

This is a great camera and easy to use for first timers. The tech support is really awesome too as they helped me go through the installation process. AR004639

I should have learned from prior experience with this manufacturer but alas I went with cost not quality. First off, setting up the product was neither easy or without troubles. Secondly, every time the manufacturer updates their firmware they screw up the cameras function and it takes hours to correct. I dont know why they even update the firmware because it was working fine in the first place but I wouldnt say great. Now after another firmware update I am going to take a hammer to both cameras I purchased and get another manufacturers product and hopefully without flaws. I will never purchase another Dlink product and you can take that to the bank! If I could rate negative stars I would.

The camera has a good quality picture. It was a little more complicated to set-up to wireless than I was expecting. Had to go thru tech support. Ed was very helpful and professional. C6722160, AR004226

I purchased two D-Link Day/Night Network Cameras: DCS-2132L and a DCS-5222L. Installation for both cameras was a breeze. The DCS-5222L has a crisp day/night transition. The DCS-2132L has a very clear day camera, but the night vision is grainy and inferior to the DCS-5222L. I will be exchanging the DCS-2132L for a DCS-5222L tomorrow.
