    My son recently started taking guitar lessons and we bought several different kinds of strings to see which were the best. He broke one of these strings right after putting it on. After restringing it, he found that the strings had a nice sound but decided they are perhaps not as durable as some other brands other strings? Hard to tell. He is a beginner.

    Sounds good, last a long time. You best know how to tie them to your bridge, but if you play classical, this shouldn't be news to you.

    The strings were very easy to install. They were not overly stretching after yhr first tune. After the 2nd or 3rd tuning, they held it very well. A very nice tone comes from these.

    My friend and I went looking around for some guitar strings and these are a great quality set for the price. It's closer than driving to the Guitar Center which would save me on gas too.

    For the price, overall a good buy. But as I said, the 3rd string does not ring out with the good clear, bold tone we want from our guitar. Perhaps string makers all, should consider doing a cooper silver wound on the 3rd string to solve this problem?
