You can never go wrong with Gwen Verdon and Bob Fosse. D@mn Yankees is the film vrrsion of the hit Broadway musical, also starring Verdon as the seductive and comedic Lola. Tab Hunter, is good as Joe Hardy, but the real stars of this film are Verdon and the dance numbers, choreographed by Fosse. Owning this film is a must for anyone who love musicals.

Excellent set, superb storyline with great dance numbers -and outstanding singing. Thoroughly entertaining!

This movie seems to move from available to unavailable on a regular basis. My copy was a burn on demand copy, so maybe that means it will remain available. The movie is fun, of course Gwen Verdon does a marvelous job.

Cheaper than Amazon, What a deal! I would recommend

An excellent light hearted musical based upon the Faustian premise of selling one's soul to the Devil. Look, they don't make 'em like this anymore because Hollywood has sold it's collective soul so take the time to buy this and enjoy it as often as you wish. The print isn't the best but the songs, dancing and acting along with a baseball stage is what brings the smiles and the memories flowing back to a time when sports meant something because the players weren't prima donnas (apologies to Dion!). Highly recommended because it is worthy it!

A classic for a musical or for the baseball fan. Other have stolen the theme from this story.." The Natural", " Major League" other include the Rocky Horror Show for" What Lola wants Lola gets" is no different that Frankenfurter coming down the elevator Waiting in dispensation for Brad or Janet ..They should all thank this movie

Remember this movie from when I was younger and have been saying I wanted to buy it since tab hunter passed away. It was still great after all these years! The movie is not really dam Yankees but your sight would not let me use the correct first word as it was inappropriate language. Lol.

A lot of fun. This is a wonderful story with lots of wonderful music

One of the best movies ever made,even my Kids enjoyed it.

A baseball classic. It holds up fairly well, even today. Sure some of it is simple and corny. But there are songs and scenes that are timeless.
