We have loved having this dishwasher! We have a small kitchen and we cook a lot, so the dishes can really pile up some weeks. It is a little bigger than a standard microwave, but has not affected our countertop space much at all. It’s super easy to hook up to the sink faucet, and the only time it makes a loud-ish noise is when the water drains out into the sink. Other than that, it is very quiet. We use a powder-based dish detergent (Seventh Generation), and all the dishes come out perfectly clean. They do not recommend using gel packs as not all machines can dissolve the plastic coating well. I’ve tested it with dishes that had dried-on sauces from dinner the night before, and they came out perfect! When the cycle is done, it will beep for about 8 seconds, and you just simply turn the faucet off, press the red pressure release button (it will splash in your face if you don’t haha), and that’s it! There is not a drying time like larger dishwashers, but you can leave the door cracked open for a while, or just dry them by hand. It fits a ton of dishes, and there is a handy photo example in the manual of how best to arrange all types of dishes. Takes a little practice to make it work for your personal dish-ware, but worth figuring out like a puzzle! We feel like this dishwasher is worth every penny and wished we had bought it sooner!

This is a short-term review; performance may vary over time. This unit replaces another Danby countertop dishwasher, which lasted for over 20 years. You can take that as a general hint of what to expect. The latest model adds nice new features, such as a larger tub, a rack that can accommodate pots and pans, a separate pre-wash detergent dispenser, six wash cycles and all-electronic controls. The overall countertop footprint is barely larger than its predecessor, it's no heavier--oh, and it cleans dishes at least as well as a built-in full-size dishwasher. I do miss the window in the door of the older model; but I'm getting a lot more in features for roughly the same price I paid over 20 years ago. How many times can you say that about appliances? If you have a small kitchen and thought you didn't have the space for a dishwasher, think again.

I have a teeny-tiny kitchen. This washer saves me steps in cleaning up after letting dishes pile up for too long. I used to have to rinse and stack the dishes somewhere just so I could wash them. Now it's rinse and stack in the washer. Instant hook-up, it's quiet, and you can fit a lot of stuff inside, which is great. It's made cleaning up my messes so much easier and less intimidating. I highly recommend it if you have limited space!

This was our first dishwasher great price and portable. I have low water pressure and it does a great job.

Really love this compact dishwasher, I put it on my counter in a corner I never really used and it has made my life so much easier. The only thing that I wish it had is better cycle options (extra rinse, etc)

I love my new Danby countertop dishwasher! It definitely does the job! Very clean dishes! Amazingly, I can barely hear it when it is running! The box it was packed in was so huge, I worried it was too big. But, it was so well protected that is what made the box big. No dents or scratches. The only drawback is that the posts cannot be moved to make room for a larger piece of dishware.

Perfect size for my countertop, right next to the sink. I put it where my old drying racks went. We use it a couple times a week, it holds a fair amount of dishes, and we use normal pods for soap. Some smaller models don't break down the pods enough, but this model gets enough water in the system to let the dishes glow!

Absolutely amazing product. I was blown away at how clean this little machine gets my dishes. It's totally worth the cost, it's simple to install and use, it's been a complete game changer for me, I'm extremely happy with this item.

It was helpful for me because of my fracture hip that I can't bend down and fell over old dishwasher. Dishwasher countertop was very useful and more secure that I don't have to worry about fall over again . I would recommended for those who have disability or past injuries to use this product for safety.

Works great. Setup was really easy and it cleans dishes well. It’s small but gets the job done

We were sick of doing dishes by hand and decided to give this a try. You really can fit larger plates in, but everything else fits. The drying cycle doesn't do the best job, but we found that once the machine stops, we open the door a bit and let air in to do more drying.

Had it for a few weeks and we love it! It’s just right for our small family. Recommend using a rinse aid.

I can't wait to see what my water bill will be this month I get everything in there does a great job cleaning I throw some vinegar in there [ that was recommended in the instructions] I have hard water doing this eliminates any residue

This thing is great for small space living with just my wife and I always on the go as renters fighting over the dishes is no longer an issue I do recomend for a small space and bizzy lifestyle

Works great, just wish the size was slightly bigger. Doesn’t fit normal sized plates unless you lay completely flat

My apartment is a old house that was converted to apartments, live in the upper unit so the kitchen set up is the greatest. This has been a great little dishwasher for the space that I have.

Had the spt model before and while they are very similar, the SPT one had a nicer dishrack. Wish I had spent the little more for it. Overall though, good product
