I received what was apparently a used unit. No instructions and missing parts. Didn't cool even though the compressor was cycling. Returned to Best Buy. Service at store was great.

A good portable air conditioner for the price. It does what I wanted it to do but not what I had hoped it would do but that was a factor more of my duplex than the unit.. Customer satisfaction equals meeting customer expectations and this unit did that.

Works for a small room not great on hot summer days works better when it is already cold outside and only works good when the bedroom door is shut for a small room. only recommend maybe only if they need a extra ac unit for a small spear bedroom

I decided to return this product because in order for my room to be cool, I had to keep it running all night; and my room was minimally cool. I did not want to give this a a bad review, however, for my room space, this was useless.

Works well for its size, wish I would have got a bigger unit

I wanted to use this for my camper during hot days. It didn't work real well during the day (with the sun beating down on camper) but once the sun went down, it served its purpose.

I always look for the best deals without compromising quality. This is yet another of my great finds! A++

makes room comfy but not cold,only good in sm.room

This air conditioner is the ticket for keeping your room cooler in the HOT summer months!! It shuts on and off automatically as needed to maintain temperature you prefer. Would highly recommend!!

very dissatisfied with the Danby product and have complained to their head office and now I see you have reduced it and I paid more! I am upset with Best Buy

Followed the directions carefully in setting up the unit, and it worked great... for the first four hours. I happened to be standing next to it when it quit working. It appeared to freeze up. The temperature on the front panel kept dropping, eventually reaching 46 degrees, and the unit stopped blowing any air. After unplugging it and waiting several hours it appeared to leak. I attempted to drain it following the directions, but very little water came out. After that the unit would not function for AC, dehumidifying, or on simple fan settings. Boxed it up and took it back. Stuck an old AC window unit in, and have been pleased enough with its function to just leave well enough alone.

The unit is relatively quiet but it can't handle high levels of humidity. It's supposed to vent the humidity outside but if the level is too high it'll start to leak water from the reservoir normally used for the dehumidifier function. You have to hookup a hose and route it to a drain or bucket in this scenario. The air is only moderately cool.

Purchased it for a small bedroom 10x12 and it works wonders. Takes a bit longer to cool off my living room though but I expected that.

Will not put out very much cool air. Expected it to compare to a small 110 but it did not. Won't even cool 1 small room.

The unit is working well so far, owned for 5 weeks. no negative issues, the use has added to the electric bill significantly.

Perfect for my office or bedroom! Even great for our rectangular shaped downstairs area.
