Have only owned this freezer for a few weeks, but seems to be well insulated and quiet. I really like the vertical divider. One issue, though. The lid doesn't seal well. In front under the handle is an area about 14 inches wide that leaks air. Cold gets out and frost gets in unless I keep about 15lb of weight on it.

We have only purchased upright freezers in the past mistakenly thinking that it would be harder to find objects in a chest freezer. We were wrong. Chest freezers are far more convenient. We have had this freezer for about 2 weeks now and it appears to work without a hitch. We selected it because of the back wheels. It would have been better if it had weels on all four sides, but we achieved about the same functionality by using appliance pads.
