This is NOT the 2-disc, 20th Anniversary Edition as described; this is the 1-disc standard edition. The UPC on the box (of the 1-disc version I received) matches the UPC listed in the description for this item (supposedly the 2-disc version) on Best Buy website.

Great Western Movie about the native american struggle against the Union Army from Kevin Costner & Michael Blake. includes both the theatrical and directors cut of the movie. the Steelbook makes it a much better purchase. also stars the late Graham Greene & Mary Mcdonnell

Really nice for the collector! Theatrical, Extended and an extra disc of special features on 3 BluRays in a lovely Steelbook edition case. Well Done on this one Best Buy!

Dance with Wolves is a great addition to anyones collection. The coolest thing in this 3 disc edition. Is the inclusion of the extended cut, which at nearly 4 hours, really explains some gaps left by the original theatrical version. A great look at how this country used to look before the fronteir was gone

You get both versions if memory serves. The longer version is great, it totally transcends into the day when we were just starting to get along with all those Indians. Even though our govt slaughtered so many. What a travesty. This is a feel good version of history. Loved this movie!

The extended version is nearly 4 hours long, so grab some popcorn. The audio is OK for the age of the film, so I don't particularly understand how the DTS 7.1 audio really help this regard. It's cool that the Theatrical version is also included. Nice package; love the steel box.

Up there with Field of Dreams, this movie was a great story about the last frontier disappearing and giving way to a new nation, and with that choices that were made of good and evil men. It's a timeless classic that never gets old no matter how many tims I watch it.

I had seen this movie years ago on dvd. So I decided owning it on the bluray disc. What a amazing picture along with the sound improvement too. Bonus features good and the movie is in two formats. Must see for any one who likes the good films of the past.

This is one of those movies that everyone should have in their collection. You get both the theater version, extended version, and a disc of great extras. The extended version does not add a lot to the story line but the extras are outstanding.

Great movie to have to watch over and over again. Good for the whole family.

One of my top 10 favorite movies. It is very well directed and writtten. I have only had it on dvd and vhs and have been waiting forever to see it on blu-ray. Finally it’s on blu-ray.

This is an attractive looking steelbook of a great film. Includes several different versions of the movie, along with tons of extras. Great package, reasonably priced.

It was a great movie when it came it and after picking up the beautiful Steelbook and watching it anew, it is still Iconic. The extended version is excellent.

I can still remember the first time I saw this in theaters. It’s an absolutely wonderful movie. Great story, incredible acting. One everyone should see!

I love this movie!! I just wish Best Buy would have sent me this edition like I ordered instead of the 25th anniversary edition which is not the extended cut. Their warehouse sent me the wrong one 4 times before I finally gave up. If I'd have gotten to see this one, I would have rated 5 stars.

A movie with great meaning. The extended cut is very long but it only adds to the pleasure of watching a movie you don't want to end anyway.

Have watched this movie several times and had to gwet my own 4K Ultra HD edition. Have recommended this movie version to our friends.
