The first time I saw this movie, we were about half way through the movie and a thunderstorm knocked out the power at the theater. We opted to come back and watch the rest of it - a decision I will never regret. We ended up spending most of the day (11&1/2 hours) at the theater to watch the whole movie. An amazing story with unforgettable characters.

I remember seeing this in the theaters when it first came out. I bought this to introduce my wife and kids to it. Blu-Ray makes all the vista and open plains shot come alive. We enjoyed as much as I enjoyed it 30 years ago. If you have 3 hours to spare it's a good Friday night family flick (start it early).

In my opinion, Dances with Wolves is one of the best movies ever made. It is beautifully directed; the cinematography, the costumes, the story, the characters, the acting all come together and create an unforgettable drama from history. It is one of those movies that really brings a new, fresh perspective to history.

I enjoyed this movie when I bought the VHS...it was grainy. I enjoyed this movie when I bought the DVD the quality was much better. Now, I have a new Samsung 50" Smart TV that you guys delivered last week and this movie is oh so outstanding. I was watching the movie on a old fashioned 32" box Sony TV. What a great improvement.

Such a great classic!! I had seen it once before my family and I actually purchased it! I did not remember much but I know I liked it a lot! Such a great story about Native Americans and the struggle they faced when the 'white men' came to take away land. I definitely recommend this to anyone who may be a history buff or anyone!

This is a good movie I liked it very much. The picture and info may be a little miss leading it is 1 disc when I got it since it was not the edition I wanted I returned it.

I was very pleased with the movie I ordered it was shipped in a neat package and shipping was very fast I will order from from Best Buy again. I like the fact I can order on line and it is sent to my door and I don't have to make trip to town to shop. Shopping on line is very convenient for me. Thanks

DWW is truly a remarkable feat in filmmaking. Grand in every way. Epic views of the plains. The dignity and pride of the Native peoples. The thunderous buffalo hunt. Reward yourself with this masterpiece that truly is a marvel in Blu-ray and multi channel sound. Great price for this title.

Granted this is a long movie to begin with, but what Costner left on the cutting room floor in some cases really needed to stay with the movie. Many questions are answered with the extended/deleted scenes replaced into the sequence of the film.

If you like westerns, natives, a venture this is a great movie and extended version is helpful to for some of the questions on the cut version it's Definitely worth watching.

This was a great movie. I didn't realize when we purchased it from the 599 been that it was the extended version. This extended version of the movie brought a lot of light two holes that were in the original movie. The only downfall was the digital HD was not the extended version.

This is a must see movie for the whole family. The acting is terrific by all and captures your attention even if it's longer than most movies. The scenery and setting is wonderful to see and the animals were captivating. Even though this is an older movie it still holds it's own as one of my top ten to date.

Never saw this when I was younger. Been on a big kick of watching older movies I hadn't seen yet. This edition was very long at almost 4 hrs but it is very good. A bit slow at times but so good. I was actually proud of myself that I'd watched the whole thing in one night.

Timeless portrayal of an civil war officer who simply has had enough and desires to see the beauty of the untamed country out west, His encounter with Native Americans is both taught, and fraught with peril as well as his rejoining of the troops he thought he left behind.

This is still an incredible movie after all these years. So well acted, shot, scored, etc. Some complain that this only has the extended version, and while I kinda wish that the theatrical cut was included, I personally don't mind since I prefer the longer extended cut.

kevin costner is brilliant as was mcdonell on all counts. this film is extraordinary. the music and cinematography is enthralling. i saw tis movie in a theater decades ago and the blu ray edition of this movie is magnificent.

Love this steel book of one of the best movies made. So glad I was able to pick up this limited and special edition copy of Dances with Wolves.

GREAT film. But obviously it's long. With the blu-raying upscale of the film, and seeing on my 60" rather than through a VCR on a 32"", it's almost like seeing it at the theatre. Nothing too special with the extras, but the film itself was worth the grab at $5.00.

This is a 3 disc set in a really nice steelBook. I was really happy when i saw this movie and steelbook was back in stock. I had to pick it up. You need to get this one at BB before it sells out.

Years ago, when this movie hit the big screen, I went to the theater 4 times to see it. I am so glad that I bought it on Blu-Ray because now I can watch it anytime I want. The scenery is magnificent and the story line is touching. A must have for your collection.
