i needed to fill in the series. i like to watch a group of movies in order. it makes a sorta theme.

What was expected. The item was a gift that was requested.

A bit cliche and boring to watch cuz he kills everybody not even the final boss can stand up to him

I'm not a fan of Dante inferno video game franchise but a friend said that i should at least give the anime a try.

I'm not a big fan of animations but this one seems like it might be in a category of its own. I think its worth owning. Below is my favorite dialog. Lucifer proclaimed: “You don’t understand. The Earth is another form of hell, and men are its demons.” “Even the purist of souls can be corrupted.” “I simply introduced sin. Man is the one that has spread it like a disease, cultivating it, empowering it. “ “I was bound by God in this frozen pit, only my shadow self allowed to roam free.” “Destroy an angel of God? You arrogant gnat. Such vanity, such pride. I could have slain you the moment you fell into hell...You worship God, but it was He who created evil. It was He who created me. If you knew the true nature of God, Dante, you too would rebel.” “You are nothing to me. A talking animal. He made me in his image...and I was to bow down to you? I grow weary of this game. Finally, I will reclaim my proper place in heaven.” “I shall plunge the cosmos into chaos...”

I just bought this DVD a couple of days ago and I watched it this morning and I have to say it was money well spent. The plot is somewhat based on the epic poem Divine Comedy writen by Dante Alghieri. the movie's about a Crusader named Dante and his journey into the Nine Layers of Hell to rescue his beloved. The anamation is solid and the voice actors are great! I'd say this is well worth adding to your DVD collection.

Just finished looking at the movie. It's awesome. I'm a huge fan of animated movies and this one did not disappoint. Great story and the fact that 6 directors made this epic made it so unique.Get this movie. I have Dante's Inferno for PS3 sitting on my desk, I'm going to play it now. A little side note: there aren't any significant bonus features. But I didn't buy the DVD for the bonus features, did I?

Very amazing movie! I really enjoyed it. Follows the story in the game pretty well. Amazing artwork! Love the animation that was done in the movie, especially with such big anime directors like Shuko Murase (Ergo Proxy) and Yasuomi Umetsu (Kite: Liberator). Really loved the movie, and really is great to have with the game.

OVERALL IT WAS PRETTY GOOD ESPECIALLY WITH THE WHOLE GRAPHICS, BUT DIDN'T REALLY LIKE HOW THEY KEPT CHANGING THE CHARACTERS FACE, EVERY EPISODE

This is a must see for anyone who has played the game. I also enjoyed how several different artists were given different levels of hell to draw and how it all came together.
