I was so excited to get this DVD in the mail. As soon as I got it I watched about 10 episodes in a row. I've been really pleased so far with the quality. I was worried that the quality of a 90s cartoon would pale in comparison to the animation quality of today's TV shows, but I really don't notice much of a difference in quality. The only bad thing is some of the music from the original shows didn't transfer into the DVD episodes because all of the licensing would have cost way too much and taken too much time to get. But unless you're a die hard Daria fan and have all the music memorized according to scene, I doubt you'll notice... I haven't.

The Daria DVD- Complete Boxset is a must buy for anybody that loves the show. Daria, a witty, logical high schooler, is the manifestation of the fun and creative side of MTV before reality TV set in for the network. The only miss is the lack of including the original music from the shows airings. I understand that obtaining the musical rights for all of the songs would be nearly impossible, and the cost of those licensing rights would increase the cost of the boxset to stratospheric levels, I merely wish it had been so.

A must-own for any Daria fan. It took a long time to come to DVD, but the show holds up amazingly well. It's as funny and witty as remembered. The only downside is that all the great music from the 90s that was used in each episode has been removed, but that's a minor complaint and it doesn't detract from the show at all. The set includes every episode from the show's 5 season, the 2 full-length movies, and a bunch more great extras.

A good set for Daria fans. Includes every episode, and both movies. A majority of the music is replaced, but that's fine, because if the original movie was in-place, the set would cost 500$. The packaging is weird,, and fairly flimsy. Something like a big fold-out box, or just thin dvd cases would've been better. But the set looks good, is well produced, and when I got it, was 30$.

I thought my memories of "Daria" and the melancholy theme melody were lost with my adolescence; thanks to this set, I can enjoy them anew!! The packaging and DVD quality are great. I do wish there was a documentary or background info about the series, but I'll just have to wait for the 50th anniversary release. ha Great purchase!!

I watched this growing up, and I was worried it wouldn't be as good to my now 25-year-old psyche. But trust me -- this show holds up over time. In fact, I think I understand the show much better now than I did then. It's witty, comical, and entertaining. I'm so glad this finally came out on DVD. I highly recommend it!

If you loved the TV series, you'll love owning the DVDs. While there are no extras and no paper guide, the DVDs are easy enough to navigate that you'll figure out where everything is. So much fun to relieve this simple, intelligent comedic look at life as a teenage girl in the early 90s. Simply put: F U N !!

I bought this because I loved Daria when it was on TV and have wanted it ever since. I got it at a great price and the whole series is in one box set. I love it!

Everyone's favorite teenager with the monotone and deadpan delivery is back finally.
