Great show at a great price well worth the buy for sure

Who does not live sarcasm. If you don't then this isn't for you.

This release of "Daria" is missing a lot of the music. There's an insert within the dvd case that explains the situation, and for the most part, the people behind this release made sure any music important to plot was kept in. The theme song is still there, so that's a plus. There are some scenes where newly added public domain music feels a little out of place, but it's bearable. I would give it a full 5 stars, but it isn't a perfect release. It's great for binge watching or leaving on in the background. Overall, I'm happy about this complete series release because it didn't cost me an arm and a leg to obtain, and it's REAL!

One of my favorite cartoons, I grew up watching Daria.

Although it is a "spinoff", this series about a teenage girl is much more cerebral. If you watched in on MTV or Noggin, you may notice that some of the music has been changed because of copyright issues. Otherwise, episodes are complete and there are some bonus items (a never aired spinoff) included . Enjoy!

If you grew up throughout the 90s watching animated programming then this is among the must haves. Back when the MTV, had decent to great shows, I am aware there are nostalgia glasses on, but can't help that this show help me with the teen years.

Daria will always be a classic in my book. I only watched the first disc but all the jokes were still there and I chuckled a lot. This version of the series does not have MTv rock music in the background of the episodes. So, if you are into 1990's backup music from commercial musical artist of that time, you'll have to settle for the Daria generic theme song. Admittedly, I lost interest in the later seasons. Maybe watching them again will refresh my interest. Either way, for the cost of this item, any Daria will come out ahead with this purchase.

A lot of people get nostalgic for the children's cartoons of the 1990s, but here we have a teen oriented cult classic cartoon that stands up to the test of time. If you were ever a teenager or an outcast, you can probably identify with this show. And if not, you may enjoy it anyway.

I grabbed this collection of series because I watched this show occassionally, growing up. This series hasn't differed much from the original but some of the music has changed. They had to make some adjustments in order to offer it at a great price (Quoting the note that accompanied the dvd).

The big disappointment is that all the original music is gone and replaced with weird 'soundalike' stuff since MTV had the right to broadcast with all the contemporary music, but couldn't get the home video rights because those are separate contracts. Much like the WKRP dvds have the wrong music, and Top Gear when not shown in the UK has weird different music, etcetera etcetera. Still the show is really good on it's own merits and having all the episodes (plus the two movies on the last disc) is a pretty great set.

This is a must have for any fan of the MTV show "Daria". You get the episodes. You get a little bonus material. Just don't be surprised when you watch it and get confused by the music - licensing fees are HIGH so music was swapped out. Still the great cartoon you remember though!

Daria is fantastic! Sarcastic, intelligent, and way ahead of its time. I thought it may be dated and not as good as I remember it being while it was on the air, but I was wrong. As bonus fun, I watched it imagining Daria grew up to be 30 Rock's Liz Lemon...

I purchased Daria: The Complete Animated Series DVD. I am happy with it, however I thought it was pretty expensive for a DVD that is not really in demand. It should have been much cheaper. Otherwise, I am satisfied with the product.

Great to see all the old episodes of this old favorite, while it is somewhat disappointing that the original music clips have been replaced with generic audio scraps, it's understandable given the cost of licencing & royalties due the originals.

This has been a great purchase; I’ve been looking for the complete Daria collection for quite awhile and I was finally able to find it. Even though the original soundtrack used during the original television run because of licensing, it’s still a great watch.
