The Dark Knight is a great film, and it looks great in 4K here. The only downside is that the bonus features are all carried over from the previous Blu-Ray release, so there is nothing new to see there.

The Dark Knight on 4K Blu Ray is an excellent choice to showcase just how good a 4K movie can look on your 4K TV. The IMAX scenes are sharp and very detailed and take up your whole screen. The rest of the movie is action packed with deep blacks and great picture detail. You will not be disappointed in adding this movie to your collection.

So there are movies that are rereleased in 4K that provide nothing more than slight upgrades to audio. Then there’s movies like this that provide a new experience. The movie is fantastic, the upgrade to 4K was absolutely worth it.
