It is a very amazing game! First off there is NO hand-holding at all, so it's not for casual gamers or those who would give up when things get difficult. It is a fairly difficult game that takes timing and practice, unless you play online, then you can summon "phantoms" (other players) to pretty much take care of everything for you, and turn the game extremely easy. The story is amazing if you can pay attention to what certain NPC's tell you, and grasp at the other little straws of information the game gives you.

Surprisingly challenging even in comparison to the first and SOFS. However I think it was is a near perfecting ending to the series. If you're a Soulsborne fan this is a must play, including the excellent DLC.

Fun game but very difficult. No checkpoints so makes you really think and strategize before rushing into battle

The game itself is great, it's even more awesome with all the DLCs included. Dark Souls 3 still retains what makes Dark Souls amazing: difficult, but fair and very rewarding once you win.

Picked up this game after God of War and wanting to play a game with some melee combat. Initially the movement of the character seemed very choppy. It might have been my internet connection or online issue. But after turning off online play, the character movement was smooth! There's a boss right at the beginning and he immediately gets you hooked you to the game!! Excellent game. A bit less difficult than original Dark Souls.

I picked this up on a whim, I really did not enjoy the first Dark Souls game because of the difficulty. I figured I would jump back into the series, great price for a complete edition. I am hooked on the game now, the difficulty is still there but the level layout and pacing in this game is impeccable. I highly recommend this for any player, either looking to get into the Soulsbourne series or returning veterans.

You will die. You'll try again. You'll get killed again, but notice a hitch in that enemy's swing. You'll try again, and this time you'll bury them. You'll feel good. And then you repeat his process through a dozen other bosses. This game continues this series fantastic ambience, and excellent combat, and most importantly, the series acknowledged lack of handholding and often demanding difficulty.

Game has a lot of action. I bought as a gift for someone and an employee at the store recommended this game. Stating yes this is a good one. That did it for me.

Well, we all know dark souls are famous for being difficult and has very strict death punishment. But that is also why so many people love this game. Great art style and challenging game design. It requires a lot careful consideration and strategies to pass this game. A five star for those who love to get involved and enjoy challenges.

By the time you get to Dark Souls 3, you may know what you're getting into: these games are difficult, specific, and obtuse. However, they continue to be some of the most rewarding experiences in games. Amazing graphics and atmosphere mixed with dozens of ways to play the game. It's the peak Dark Souls experience.

Continuing the lore and the never ending battle with insanely tough game play FromSoftware does another excellent job creating a wonderful game and experience. Dark Souls franchise is not for everyone but those who do get into the difficult bosses, zones, enemies, etc, come away breathless playing this amazing title.

Just a great game overall. Closer to Demon's Soul than the other two in the series. My favorite of the group by far.

Great Value for a Great Game, DS 3 its a really great game, as for DLC, it was a steal for the price I got it. :D

This game is an amazing deal if you don't have the previous version due to the included DLC all for the same price.

Let me start by saying the visuals in this game are amazing. I have an original PS4 (not a slim or a Pro), and I do notice framerate dips every now and then, but it's barely noticeable, and doesn't really take me away from the experience. The story line is great, and the game quite enjoyable.
