Sure, the movie had horror elements, but the story is more drama. The movie was good, acting was really good, but the CGI needed a little more refinement in the end. Don't pass on the movie, it was good.

actually a very good decent horror fil starring Kevin Durand ("the strain") and a grown up Lucas Haas ("lady in white"). never boring, good effects, and suspenseful. good job all around

this movie was much better then I thought it would be.The only thing i didnt like they waited to long to show the creature in full.

I had read and watched the trailer for this monster in the woods flick some time ago, and was so happy to see that it was released on Blu-ray as a Best Buy exclusive, and boy am I glad it was. The movie is shot like it had a budget of like 10 million dollars, it's shot that well, and the character study of the leads are phenomenal. If you like monster in the woods stories, pick this up, you will not be disappointed...

A cool horror movie with a cool plot. Hopefully they will create a sequel and not leave it the way it ended

bought this movie when bestbuy had the buy one get one free promotion for the Sony save station movie was a slow burner but not bad. good for a one time watch buy it when it's on sale or rent it.

BestBuy Exclusive Blu-Ray versions always gets me. If you want suspense and horror without the whole cursing (none I've heard so far while watching the movie), then this would be perfect for the family. Especially when Hallowe'en is just around the corner, you can't pass on a creature-feature like this.

Right from the beginning, this film keeps you at the edge of your seat.

For a direct to DVD movie, it's not that bad. But don't expect a lot

This movie was very hard to look away from. The storyline is very good with a good group of actors. Has a good amount of twist and turns for sure. Worth seeing in my opinion if you enjoy a little amount of horror and mystery.

I hadn't heard of the movie before. I checked online and saw there were mixed reviews. I know the lead actor from walking tall, and figured I'd give it a chance. It was an ok movie.
