It is nice to see a game with the fantastic cover system of gears of war. Very few games have it but this is one of them. the graphics are very good and so are the controls. the weapon customization is a brilliant addition to the game play. Take advantage of the unwarrented price drop and get this game. This is in my opinion a very good game, too bad that according to its price drop it did not catch on cause I would definitely buy part two no question.

I read the reviews before I got this game. All this comparison of this game to Gears of War and Resident Evil 4 is not to be ignored, but when you ignore all that - the game is actually really fun. If it weren't for the glaive weapon that you use in this game, the game would probably just be another typical first person shooter. But it's the glaive that holds this game together. Graphics and gruesome action and kills is fantastic. Yes, this game is called DARK Sector for a reason. It gets so annoyingly dark (it's just as bad as Condemned 2's darkness) that it makes you wonder if this was just to make things easier for the game developers to skimp out on details. But overall, lots of action and I don't see myself getting tired of using the glaive anytime soon. Fantastic game. The STORY is very poor. I have yet to figure out the logic of the story. Oh well, not every game is perfect. This game is great overall.

This game has a great single player. The first level or preface as its called in the game is almost in black and white. But that changes after that level. The game is a lot of fun. Some times it can be hard to figure out what it is you need to do to kill the bosses. But if you keep trying a bit you can figure it out. The multiplayer isn't the best out there. But it was ok. The biggest problem with it I thought was that no one seemed to play on of the two game types. And not very many people played the other type either. So don't expect much from online. Several achievements come from online play. I would almost call them unobtainable since not enough people play online to get them. Over all this game has one of the better single player games I have seen in the 30 or some games I have played for the 360. For the price there is really no reason not to pick up this game.

This game is pretty sweet and definitely deserves a better rating than its been getting. The graphics are some of the best I've seen, and the glaive is a sweet weapon to use. Enemy AI is pretty good and keeps you on your toes. However, the multiplayer is laking a little due to the fact that there are only two different games to choose from. Overall, I'm impressed.

Dark Sector is a strange play on Krull, Guyver and Resident Evil. Basically, somehow D3 totally talks about Raccoon City and the outbreak of a killer zombie virus... Strange... You're a one man army who gets infected, recieve a throwing projectile called a Glaive and go on a killing spree... I'm not downing on the game, there simply isn't much other than this. The story is weak and holier than Swiss cheese, the visuals are tasty, the Glaive is a novel concept and the game goes from interesting to repetitive in the blink of an eye. If you like action, rent this... If you're all about buying games based on hype, buy away... And recognize that the end battle is a total rip off of RE 4.

Dark Sector is my idea of a game no one really knows about but is fantastic. It was not advertised much but the game is great, the gaive is a wonderful weapon to throw around and gameplay is fun, creepy and sci-fi at once. I like upgrading further through out the game and having to use the upgrades in gameplay. Down sides multiplayer it is pointless and not very fun. The game is great and if you like shooters, action games this has to be in your collection 5 out of 5.

Dark Sector was a surprisingly good game. The graphics are incredibly impressive with very fast load times. Restarting from a checkpoint was equivalent to cartridge-style speeds. Wow. The lighting effects and animations are excellent. It looks just as good as Gears of War. The gameplay with the Glaive is also really fun. The gunplay pales in comparison to your Glaive powers tho. I'm not sure why they made the guns so boring to use. As you progress, you earn more upgrades and it just gets more fun. It's the best part about this whole game. But the story is really weak and the main character is forgettable. The enemies are boring and predictable and the levels are kinda bland. The cover system is kinda broken and the enemy AI is pretty stupid. None of these weaknesses take away from the fun which was shocking to me. Overall, if you like games like Resident Evil 4 and Gears of War, it's worth checking out. It's surprisingly fun and challenging.

If you are just looking for a good fighting action game, this is a game to get just for that. It lacks a storyline other than the virus which makes you part human. Multiplayer is just plain pointless.

This game looks like it is going to be really good. I saw game trailers and game play trailers and both the multiplayer and single player looks awesome. I would deffinitly recommend this game. The graphics looked really good and the game play looked really smooth. Two main things that I love in games.

GREAT PRICE! I WOULD HAVE GLADLY PAID $50 FOR A PC VERSION WHEN THIS GAME FIRST CAME ON THE MARKET. THIS PRICE IS A STEAL! GREAT GRAPHICS! A LOT OF FUN "WOW THAT WAS COOL!" MOMENTS. FUN TO PLAY OVER AND OVER.

Dark and gory game, which makes it ridiculous fun to guide the blade with the as it flies and slice off limbs. story is a lil short, but the game doesnt have to be. Do the hardest setting and it will take you a while. online is fun, kind of one a juggernaut style play. one person has a lot of powers and everyone else tries to kill him/her. rent it to be sure you like it.

Great game, I don't know why it got poor reviews. If you like Gears of War, you will like this game. One boss was kind of a pain to beat, but if you look up how to beat (him/her spoiler), it's not that tough. The game is a little short, but fun!

good third person shooter for all the casual xbox players....but for all the xbox gamers who need a challenge then this is not for you

Gotta luv the gaphics on this game but again as always the x-box continues to disappoint me!!!
