    An excellent war picture that's often overlooked. It delves into the psyche of men playing a chess match with allied Naval forces and the fears of surviving in a underwater tomb.

    Das Boot...classic movie in Blue Ray. The fact that Best Buy had this legendary movie was amazing. It took longer than anticipated to arrive but that was not Best Buy's fault. They acted in good faith and delivered the product in good packaging and new condition as expected.

    You cannot skip this film if you are a history or war film fan. The way they deliver the human experience in it is a masterpiece in filmmaking too.

    Different perspective from the second world war. The picture quality is great. Only wished a digital copy was included but otherwise i highly recommend purchasing this!

    This is an absolute classic. I am excited to upgrade to Blu-Ray from my old DVD version. The new extras look great, too.

    I watched with English subtitles. A very interesting, and believable, saga.....even better than Hunter Killer, etc.
