I have been looking for a mechanical keyboard for my Mac for a while. I finally ordered this keyboard and am very pleased with it. The only two things that I would change would be backlit keys and a matte finish instead of the gloss one it currently has. You can see more dust and finger prints on the gloss finish.

My Macbook Pro has keys that don't always work. So, I decided to purchase a keyboard. After doing lots of research, I decided on this one. I love the weight and height of the keys and I even like the clacky sound. I'm able to type a lot faster on this keyboard than I am on my Macbook. The only thing that I'm noticing is that the white letters are starting to fade. I'm afraid that by the end of the year, the letters will be difficult to see.

Despite the price, a drawback for some, Das Keyboard provides the most accurate feedback for keystroking of any keyboard I've tried. Mechanical switches, while a bit noisy, improve your accuracy. Durable construction means this one will last for a while without failures or 'mis-clicks' - the operator will always know who is responsible for errors, which should save time in the long run...

I've had this keyboard for about a month now. It took me a few weeks to get use to it. The keyboard touch is different from any other keyboard I've had in the past, which were electronic. However, it's very comfortable and I like it very much. I'm still trying to figure out how I can program certain "F" keys for my Mac. Of note- this is a mechanical keyboard which makes a typing noise unlike electronic keyboards. However, I like the sound it makes because you know when the letter has been typed. Overall it is well built and should last many years.

Very comfortable to type on, great action when pressing keys. The Mac version has Mac hot keys, be advised that when using those hotkeys you have to hold the function key. It took 3 tries before I got used to that, so it's not that big of a deal. The extra USB ports are a great addition. Please be aware that this keyboard is not quite! But that's why your looking at it right? I love this keyboard!!

Perfect clicky keyboard for the mac. I hate the normal flat keyboards and this is perfcect.

My wife uses this keyboard and she has not had any issues. She loves it and said if it poops out, she wants one just like it to replace it.

Did not care for this keyboard. It was very noisy on use and as I am fairly fast to type it felt very clumsy and noisy. I ended up returning this. Not happy with it.

It's a good keyboard, came exactly as advertised and works fine. It's a bit large though. I think if you're a woman/have small hands, you might find it a bit cumbersome.

excellent mechanical Keyboard ... definitely a good choice

I bought this for my Apple computer and it works great. The keys are nice and responsive and it comes with the proper keyboard layout for Apple computers so no remapping is needed.

Great keyboard and looks cool. You get used to the key clicks.

We are extremely pleased with this keyboard on our new Mac. Just love the clicking of the keys and it works perfectly.

If you are looking for a mechanical keyboard with Mac function keys, the Das Keyboard Model S is a superb choice. It has Cherry MX Blue keys that are springy and clicky and is full-size with a numeric keypad. It has special function keys for sleep, multimedia control, and brightness, but I do not frequently use them. The keyboard is a little pricey but is within the average price of a mechanical keyboard. If keyboard clicks bother you (or your officemates), this keyboard is not for you, but if you do not mind the noise, your fingers will thank you!
