Exercise caution before purchasing this service. If you would like your dash camera hardwired into your car's fuse box, not all stores provide this service, and you cannot call stores directly to find out if their technician is capable of doing this for you because calls are routed to a central call center where they do not have this information. Furthermore, not all common car makes and models are available on the online scheduling service. This means, once again, you must call the central call center. Prior to purchasing this, PLEASE, visit the Best Buy where you would like the work completed, ask if they still have an auto technician (Best Buy's system may be out of date), if they still have an auto technician ask if they can complete the work you would like them to do, and if the answer to both of those questions is yes, then pay and schedule in person. If they cannot schedule you in person, then, AND ONLY THEN, purchase and schedule your appointment with this product online using the closest make and model to your car available on the scheduler. I don't mean to hate on this, I had a great experience with a dash camera installation prior to my last experience. It just depends on the technician available in your store.

I was very impressed with my Dash cam install. Everything was done quickly and to a really high quality. They even took time after the install to help guide me through the app install on my phone to get the camera synced up and to test both cameras.

I installed VIOFO a129 Pro (dual front 4K and back) with its hardwire kit. After installing it on my car (camry 2014), it was well working but one day after, it died. So, I rescheduled the service and replaced hardwire kit with paying extra money, then everything has worked well.

A little bit of a delay but wonderful installation and very happy with the results. Unfortunately the installer had a medical emergency so I had to wait 2 hours until his replacement came in. The manager took responsibility and all worked out. The installation was done very neatly and professionally and he vacuumed my car when he finished! Very satisfied.

Technicians installed a dash camera in my truck. Great job, done quickly, all cables and wires were hidden so no "eye sores", camera connected to begin recording w/ engine start, ending when key removed from ignition. No issues since, have been completely satisfied and happy with product and installation.

I felt terrible and canceled my dash cam installation this morning. Initially, my appointment was rescheduled to six weeks later because my car was a new model for them to examine some details. A couple of days before my appointment, I received a phone call saying that it would take longer, until 4-5pm. When I arrived on the day of my appointment, I was told that they would charge me $200 for the luxury car installation (front and back) and that it would be finished by 5-6 PM. I was hoping they would inform me earlier instead of surprising me after 30 minutes of driving there.

The tech refused to do a hardwire dashcam installation claiming that because the car was an EV, it wasn't possible to do a hardwire installation and had to be via the OBD (a less clean install, but easier for him). He claimed that OBD is the only way to prevent battery drain. This is simply incorrect. Despite producing copious evidence that hardwiring is not only possible for my EV, but actually preferable, he wouldn't be moved. He wouldn't back his statement up except to say that he knew better than everyone else because he's been doing this for a number of years. That's the kind of attitude that would get me fired in my job.
