It's the worst installation not waiting more than 2 hours even not makes me happy. The dashcam keeps falling on. I installed on Rockville, MD location my Sienna 2021 Last year that so super work he did but on Wheaton,MD location disaster work on my Toyota Highlander. My apologies for taking a few days to write my review. I can surely say that Floyd and the other gentleman (Sorry, I forgot to get his name) working on the installation of the dash cam did an exceptional job. The men were very pleasant and explained everything when I asked a question. This is the second time I have had a dash cam installation at Best Buy. If I ever need another installation I would go back to Best Buy. Thank you for the service and pleasant conversation.

Professional and personal with the service I received

Installed quickly and professionally. This is the 2nd time I've had Bestbuy Geek Squad install a dash cam in my car & no issues. He even skipped his lunch to finish the job, then went to lunch.

He did a nice and neat installation on the outside cameras (front grill and rear top on the roof. Screen on dashboard fit perfect. I also went back a month later for my grandson installation to replace his radio with a new one.

Despite the 5 stars, my experienced was a mix of confusion, frustration and delight. If I could split the stars, I'd give: *1 star for the purchase steps (misleading and long-winded with very poor information about the install), *1 star for the pick-up (Although they had the camera, I could only pick it up at the install schedule. I could have used it in my other car. On the day scheduled, I parked at the install bay but was told I needed to go to the pick-up counter first, get the item, and bring it to the installers - very poor), and *5 stars to the guys who installed the camera, because they went beyond what I had ordered to deliver the best solution they could. If you want to know more details: Ordering process (install only): 1 Star. Why? Read on. There are 3 ways to install a dash-cam: 1) Hang it on the windshield or dashboard and run the wire that comes with it and plug it into the cigarette lighter. Anyone can do it. 2) Using some extra equipment (a kit), connect it behind the dash to the same wiring as the cigarette lighter, so you don't see the plug and the camera turns on and off as you turn your car on and off. 3) Using a more elaborate kit, wire the camera to a constant power supply in the fuse box, so the camera is on all the time and is able to record while the car is parked. Although BestBuy offers these 3 types, when you buy a "professional installation" - and they ask about the car model, year, etc to come up whether they can do it and for how much, they do not describe what's included, and there's no place to find out. It turned out it was option 1 above, which does not need to know what kind of vehicle you have! But the price is the same to do any of them. Pick-up: The instructions were to go straight to the install bay at the back of the store, but the installers told me they didn't have the camera and that I had to go to the pick-up counter to get it. Ok. But it seemed VERY inefficient. And I had forgotten my mask, but they got me one. Install: The guys were very nice and competent. I discussed with them my frustration with the ordering and they said they could install it any way I wanted, as long as they had the kit, which apparently has to be purchased separately, but BB never gave me any clue about these options. They told me it was going to take about an hour to hour and half, which I thought was long, but gave me time to go eat lunch nearby. Well... It took them less than half-hour to finish, but upon arrival they gave the good news that they did have a kit for option 2 and the install was very neat. They give you a one-year warranty, so that was good to know too. So the information BB gives you about what you're buying for install is poor, which can affect the service at the end. Their schedule was a few days full, but reasonable.

Ben is the best. He has worked on my vehicles a few times and every time he has done an outstanding job. Very thorough, explains in detail what he did and how to use new product and he's super friendly. Very impressed and pleased with Ben and Best Buy.

Excellent installation. At the start, it was clear that the installer hadn't performed this task in my model car, but he did his homework. I'm pleased with the quality of his work.

This was from my dash cam install.It was already installed and already had my rear cam.All I wanted to have done.Was it be hard?Wire, that's what they did very reasonable.Very good guys and not bad price considering very happy good job

The Nextbase 322GW may be a middle of the road dash cam but the video quality is excellent from both cameras. Katlyn at the Best Buy in Reynoldsburg Ohio did the install and did an excellent job and was very pleasant to work with.

I purchased the one with the front and rear the guy installed and explained and showed me how everything works.

I am very pleased with the Geek Squad installation service. It was very easy to schedule appointment online. The work was done on time, as promised. The quality of installation of the dash cam is exceptional.

Initial installation went well as well as the GS Tech's (Mario) review of the basics of the Thinkware U1000. The install needed a little tweak since my rear window slides up and down so it had to be mounted to roof frame. Tech also recommended a harness so there would be no splicing it would be a plug and play hookup. I liked this since I am familiar with basic DIY installations and the harness would provide a plug and play-like "factory" install. Good recommendation. Note: You should be aware that if you have any UV treatment to your windshield you may get a "rainbow" effect to your recordings due to the combination of treatment with the anti-glare film disk or treatment of dash cam lens. If you vehicle windshields / window comes with factory UV tint treatment you have to live with it or not put on the anti-glare disk over your camera lens. That brings me to the 1) removal of camera 2) then the UV film removal by the after-market provider of UV on my windshield and 3) reinstall of front window camera. Best Buy Tech was understanding and the reinstall took about 30 minutes. Hence, I would suggest you either pay the marginal amount of $60 for GS to install (or free if you are a Total Tech Subscriber) to insure your investment operates properly and avoids any hiccups....peace of mind. I was thinking of all the other neat add on's I could get installed maybe even a heads up dispaly?

Great picture quality and easy to use! The job was done in under 35 minutes. Amazing!!

I believe I was given an hour and a half work estimate to get it installed, yet they got it done in about 45 minutes. Speedy service, and have not had any issues with the installed camera.
