This DVD is awesome...Not as good as the concert but definetly the next best thing.... Extras are great, and I am really glad I got to see him in Oakland, possibly his last tour in the USA... Definetly worth the price

A wonderful value. The first disc is the sold-out concert at Royal Albert Hall (2007). Special guests during this concert were David Crosby and Graham Nash (backing vocals). Closing the concert were several lead vocals by David Bowie. There is additional Royal Albert concert footage on Disc 2 and a 2006 concert filmed by the BBC at the Mermaid. There is European tour footage with a variety of locales. It is obvious David Gilmour and his team put out a top shelf product. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Gilmour's talent is unmatched and it shows in this live show of his. Having beem a fan of the Floyd since i was truly introduced to the band, I have enjoyed every performance by any of its members. Gilmour's sound is a relaxing, yet punching in your ears kind of souns that allows you to mellow fown in the comfort of your home. If you ever get the cahnce to see him live, dont fret on the ticket prices, they usually resell at a high price, I promise you its an experience worth the money tenfold.. if not more.

For fans of David Gilmour exclusively. While this footage does include a few Pink Floyd classics, and definitely one of the best captured performances of David Gilmour and Rick Wright playing Echoes, this is simply a "Best of David Gilmour" show. A must for your Gilmour collection. Excellent performances from guest artists and top notch production.

As with all David Gilmour releases the sound quantity, packaging, and extras are all first rate. The performances are wonderful as well. The only thing that lets the release down a little is that the picture quality changes depending on the camera view, but it's a very small issue. A must for any Gilmour or Pink Floyd fan.

I wanted to travel to Chicago to see this concert but didn't get a chance. So the next best thing is this blu ray of the concert

Had this on dvd and wanted to upgrade to blu ray. Much better picture. This is the 60 ish year old Gilmour performance and he still can get the sausage fingers to work.

On first few songs I have noticed that the sound does not match the picture. Otherwise it's a great concert with excellent choice of songs and guest appearances.

If you like Pink Floyd, then you must like David Gilmour. This is a great concert providing some Floyd and some of his On an Island music, which is just awesome. Can't go wrong with this one. I wish I could find more like this. Not sure if the neighborhs like it as I have a tendency to really crank it up.

THis DVD is amazing. If you are a fan of the floyd, then you will love this dvd. not only does it contain the concert performance, but it has hours of extras, including other performances, and an On An Island 2007 jam session. Fans know theres just not enough Floyd DVDs on the market, I think this dvd fills that void at least for now. David Gilmour muscianship on this dvd is amazing. Rick Wright has rediscovered his love for performing on stage on this tour and it shows. A MUST BUY for any Floyd/Gilmour fan.

David Gilmour delivers a simply stellar performance in this Blu-ray as did David Bowie who stepped in for a few numbers. I swear his voice hasn't aged a day. This is, without a doubt, a must have for any fan of Pink Floyd. The only thing that I can say negatively about it is that it has been packaged in a cardboard package as opposed to the standard blue plastic package. The price may also shy away some potential customers. I think I payed $35 + tax for it. I can tell you it was easily worth it.

This disc is awesome and if you like Pink Floyd then you should know that David Gilmour is the Lead Guitarist for Pink Floyd. I wont go into any details on this show other then to say it was one of the BEST concerts I have ever seen live in person as I saw David Gilmour play live on this tour at Radio City Music Hall and it was the best $500 I ever spent for a 12th row center ticket!!!

If you like Pink Floyd then you will like this as David Gilmour is the lead guitarist of Pink Floyd and this is an awesome DVD as I am priveledged enough to have received an advance screener copy today from a contest I entered and won elsewhere on the internet. Don't hesitate to buy this as you won't be dissapointed if you are truly a Pink Floyd fan!!!

Loved most everything about the disc. Very good quality production. Would like to see a plastic disc package as this is a lifetime keepsake. Won't be loning it to too many friends because of the cardboard package.

I've seen clips on YouTube, but this blows that away by a mile. The hi-def is just mind blowing, paired with a Bose or Cambridge Soundworks sound system is the icing on the cake. Totally worth the 34.99, it is sold for cheaper at other stores, but with the price match guarantee and the rewards zone, its a lock to get it here.

I would give this a 5 star rating, you have David Gilmour along with other great singer like David Crosby, Graham Nash, David Bowie, Robert Wyatt. Along with the Bonus Features you can't go wrong with getting this 2 Disc Special Edition.

Sound is a 10 And Visual Quality is a 5. Most of the show had to many blue lights. And the smoke for 1 or 2 songs would have been fine but was use to much for most of the show. To many blue lights make the video grainy and to much smoke loses the performance on stage. The song Take A Breathe was overwhelming with to much red lights. Watching the show in person these visual effects would of been fine but filming with cameras have a hard time adjusting to these lights. More white lights and less blue lights would have produced a better video. When filming a Concert all Artists should take this into account! Watch Pink Floyd's Pulse which is a 10 for sound and video quality. I feel this is the reason it took so long for it to come out after filming because they tried to adjust and correct the video part of this concert.

We saw this at Pointe Orlando during a speical viewing and I'm glad they didn't show everythign from the dvd. i was thrilled ot see there was another with Bowie. Arnold Layne was awesome tho. Love the docu after.
