The Best Season of Dawson's Creek!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dawson's Creek has its place in pop culture and remains a tv favorite today, 5 years after it's been off the air. Most of the devotion to this show centered on the love triangle between Dawson Leery, Josephine (Joey) Potter, and Pacey Witter, best friends since childhood. But things change and this season does a great job detailing the changes taking place between the three as well as the new members to their group of friends. This is the season when fans were split into two seperate groups (DJers and PJers) and the triangle would guide the show from then on. Season 3 has a great slow building tension to it that ignites in "The Longest Day", season episode 20 and perhaps the best episode of Dawson's Creek period. Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes in particular are excellent throughout this season. The only weak link is the mysterious "Eve" storyline in the first four episodes, but it's easy enough to ignore and forget. Add Jack as a football player, Jen as a cheerleader with an admirer in the freshman quarterback and you've got an unpredictable season in Capside, Massachussetts.
