Good fun for teen daughters on rainy days. Also inexpensive There is more adult content than expected. This is Pg with R rated subject material

My daughter loves watching it. It was one of her fave shows growing up.

Entertaining, but some characters and story lines are unrealistic. Poor depiction of Christians.

Although the lives of the four teens that this show revolves around are much more eventful than those of most of the teens in the audience the problems that they capture are universal. Simply the way they portray the relationship between best friends Dawson (James Van der Beek) and Joey (Katie Holmes) and they way it evolves when hormones kick in will resonate with anyone who was ever a teen with a best friend of the opposite gender. Highly recommended for anyone who likes any of the following shows: Veronica Mars, One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, Everwood, Gilmore Girls, Friday Night Lights, and any other above par teen shows. (Although, you should still check it out even if you don't consider yourself a fan of any of the aforementioned shows)

This was a good show. I grew up watching Beverly Hills 90210 so any teen drama I would watch later had some big shoes to fill. A friend talked me into this show at about season 3 I was surprised by how good it was. I have since bought all the seasons and have watched them all through twice. It is a show that both teens and adults alike can relate to. They have reallly good storylines. The actors they cast in this show are really good as well. They have good writers for this series it was easy to get drawn into the show. I would recommend it for the serious fan or for those who have never seen it before and Best Buy has great prices on all the seasons. As a male I can relate to Dawson as every boy in high school had a Joey.

I love Dawson's Creek and it's great to go back and watch season 1 for such a wonderful story. Sadly, the video quality of the DVDs for season 1 are atrocious. The video is terribly grainy and blurry. Someone botched the master copy to DVD transfer BIG TIME. I recommend this title, but be prepared to be annoyed.

I fell in love with this show during the first season and have purchased ALL of them from Best Buy! I would watch it when I stayed home sick from high school and it became an addiction. It is so easy to fall in love with each of the characters and everyone can relate to the things that happen to them.
