Beautiful graphics, and unique gameplay twist with the emphasis on your motorcycle but placed within the tired trope of zombies during the apocalypse. The story can be interesting at times, but the game overall is marred by various bugs and glitches.

I was apprehensive about buying this game because of some less than stellar YouTube reviews. I got it on a sale and I am glad I did. I love the gameplay and the story. I haven’t experienced any glitches other than some slight frame rate drops when I first got the game. After an update I haven’t had that anymore. I think when they were making the game they were originally going to give decision options which I kind of wish they had but you get so sucked into the story the lack of decisions is not really noticeable except in a few places where it’s kind of obvious the scene was originally written with options like kill this person or save them. You have to play the game really carefully in the beginning until you get better gear and skills at which point you can really take it to the freaks and that development is very satisfying.

Ok so I did not have high expectations for this game. Honestly the only reason I picked it up was because I had a gift card and figured I’d try it out without paying full price. But this game surprised me. It took an hour or 2 to really get into it but I was hooked after that. This game definitely has its flaws like frame stuttering and at some points the mouths don’t line up with the dialogue. But the good definitely outweighs the bad. The crafting system is good. Basically how the last of us system works. The hordes of zombies are intense and keep you on your toes for sure. The story is great and by the end I was deeply engaged in the characters. By far one of the best games I’ve experienced on the PS4. I couldn’t put it down. I really hope this company takes what they've learned with this game and make an amazing sequel.

If you love post apocalyptic, shooting games you will love days gone. Ride around broken down world with only your motorcycle, guns and courage. Take down normal or infected humans, wolves, bears and more.

I am really enjoying this game, beautiful graphics, great story...and I love that it is open world. I wish there was a better map feature because it's hard to figure where to go sometimes. Controls are easy to figure out....pretty good game all in all.

As most PS exclusive game, this doesn't fall short of great and entertaining. Compelling story and fun gameplay with nice looking graphics and some interesting features (ie. Motorcycle!) All in all, I'm enjoying every bit of it!

This game is fun to play when you're bored of your other games or at least need a break from them. The story is pretty cool and alot to do since it's open world. There is some minor glitches but still worth the purchase.

This game got a LOT of negative reviews when it came out. DON"T believe them. this game is fantastic and tons of fun. You get to upgrade your bike and equipment as it goes on and the story is solid. I would love a sequel to this one, but sadly sony thinks it was not a success to its probably not going to happen. Do yourself a favor though and play this one, you won't be disappointed.

A long time coming, this game doesn’t disappoint in graphics and story. Well with the full price at game release, the only downfall is the short play time but the open world awesomeness keeps this at a five for me!

So to preface my purchase, I hardly ever buy games when they first come out. I don't like paying $60 for games, so I wait until the price drops a bit before biting. I purchased DAYS GONE the Saturday that it came out. I was really looking forward to playing this game after trying out the demo at this year's PAX. With that being said, the game is well worth it! It is a beauty, both with visuals and gameplay. The story is really well done. The world you inhabit are breathtaking, even if the Freakers (zombies) you must run, sneak by, blow up, melee, are not. As it has been mentioned in other reviews, there are glitches; and the voice acting is off sometimes, but it doesn't deter from the overall experience, or score of the game.

The game is amazing! I highly recommend if you like apocalyptic and zombie games. The story is great and emotional at times. I loved the main character Deacon. Its an open-world game and besides the main story line there are lots of side missions to complete. You can also customize your bike and my favorite was upgrading to the Dead Stranding gas tank! It looks awesome! As a fan of Resident Evil series, Horizon Zero Dawn and The Last of Us, I liked this game a lot as the story line is more relatable if a zombie outbreak was to happen where you really get into the character and can't wait to see whats next. Now I can't wait for Days Gone 2 to come out.

I was surprised by how much fun this game is. The story isn't too memorable. Half the time I wasn't too sure what was going on. The gameplay is very fun though. Riding the motorcycle feels like a boat on land until you upgrade it a bit, but it's still awesome. The gunplay feels a little floaty at first too, but I got used to it in no time. Weapon selection is good. The graphics look great and the sound effects are well done. The melee combat feels great and is one of my favorite parts of the game. I've encountered a few bugs here and there, but nothing game breaking. Overall I'm having a great time with this game.

Super fun game. The story isn't original but it is good. The gameplay however is insane. Highly recommend to play through it. Most of the bugs from the game launch have been fixed.

This is a game that I followed for a long time, and was very excited to play upon release. I have to admit this game took a while to get into, but once the story started to progress I was genuinely please. Deacon St. John while he seems like a generic character, over time you start to see the layers that make him who he is. Admittingly this game was marred with bugs and glitches during the initial release, but most have been addressed through updates, specifically the audio sync. If you go into this game not expecting much, you'll see that this game actually exceeds expectations. Fans who were looking for a Last of Us style game might be disappointed. This game is much longer than Last of Us, but not nearly as developed. Still a solid game!

Days Gone is an amazing game. The open-world action adventure game, will keep you busy for weeks! Where other post apocalyptic games are set in dingy buildings and space ships, Days Gone is set outdoors on the broken road. As Decon St. John, you're riding your motorcycle and fighting infected hordes. My favorite game!! I have given copies to many friends and family.

It's a solid game with a few bugs. They are patching some of the glitches, but this should have been done before day 1. Story is decent and gameplay is solid. Overall, its a good game but not great!

I kinda feel like this game only felt like it wasnt as good because of how hyped and built up everyone made it. To me its a really good game but should be a 49.99 game not 59.99. It has a good story, good sized open world lots of quest/side quest. Building the bike is great. The graphics I feel are more on par with State of Decay 2 than other better graphical games and im on ps4 pro. Ive noticed a few glitches but not many. My biggest con would be the character models are reused alot. The main characters have unique modles but every other character model is reused alot same with there animations. Definitely worth buying and a playthrough though.
