Forget about any attempt at gritty realism like say for example Marvel/ABC’s “Agent’s of SHIELD”; Legends doesn’t give a rats pajamas about all that... rather it’s pure superhero fantasy mixed with a little Doctor Who-esque sci-fi (less the overt sentimentalism and annoying travelling companions) and unlike SHIELD it’s more about an unlikely team-up than getting to know the b-team.
Let’s review: Hawkman (kinda like DC’s version of Wolverine) and Hawkgirl (played by the distractingly gorgeous Ciara Renee) are a solid team all by their lonesome and then throw in Leonard Snart (aka Captain Cold) who is just frigg’n awesome (wouldn’t he be amazing on FOX’s Gotham?) along with the dim-witted but nevertheless entertaining Heat Wave for good measure and you get some endearing characters with great chemistry. Absolutely not a White Canary fan but I suppose her character adds the gratuitous martial arts skills and yes I’ll admit The Atom registers rather high on the lame-o-meter but actor Brandon Routh is just such a pleasure to watch as the super-nerdy, rich genius not to mention he lends the show some big-screen presence. Firestorm on the other hand is absolutely one of my favs from the DC canon and I’m really looking forward to seeing him let off the chain, not to mention Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein has rapidly become one of my favorites in all of DCTV and his new companion Jay Jackson is really starting to grown on me (these two also have some great chemistry). Top it all off with a pretty cool super-villain in Vandal Savage (who gives the show kind of a Highlander vibe) and here’s hoping he’ll get his very own Legion of Doom.
“Legends of Tomorrow” is ambitious with a capital “A”, mixing genres along with what some might consider too large a cast but what it’s got in spades is: generous budget, a cast and crew that obviously love what they’re doing and ton of story potential, and yes I’ll admit I wasn’t exactly blown away by the pilot (thus the 4 stars) and yes, the bar fight with White Canary was embarrassingly lame (I blame the character) but still, all things considered, this is absolutely a show I’m gonna take a chance on by maintaining high expectations.
It’s a great time to be a nerd in general and a DC Comics fan in particular. Now we just need either A: NBC to bring back Constantine or B: CBS and CW do a Supergirl/The Flash teamup. :o)

I have followed all these characters as they started as recurring featured guests in Flash and Arrow. I love that they got a show of their own. I am just so enthusiastic watching an ensemble TV show. They got good chemistry. So much great action scenes.
The storyline can be a little tricky for non-regular audience because of the time-travel side, but for dedicated viewers like myself, everything makes sense.
But if you simply enjoy an action-filled show and do not care much about the backstories, this will not disappoint.
Also, I am a big Brandon Routh fan. He shows such acting prowess in portraying Atom/Ray Palmer. Subtly awkward but so funny. There is just something about him that makes you root for him all the time.
My favorite part of the show is when they have cross-over stories with both Flash and Arrow. Seeing all of them in one show is just super-exciting.
Can't wait for the Season 2 bluray to come out.
And I hope they bring back Hawkman and Hawkgirl in Season 3.

Do you like the side characters of The Flash and Arrow , more than the main characters of those shows? Well then odds are you will like this show. The show basically involves a bunch of side characters both heroes and anti heroes going on a misadventure through space and time to sane the world.
The show has some great moments basically anything with Wentworth Miller's captain cold is great .
Other moments in the show can be kind of Average or just ok... which is not bad.
I would say nothing in the show is as insufferable as the Laurel Lance drug addition getting sober story-line from Arrow.
You can view this show as the grey area between The Flash's light hearted colorful take on super heroes and the oppressive nolan-esque take that is Arrow. Not that either is Bad this show tries to balance both aspects of the universe that it shares and in most cases it succeeds.
Hope that helps I can say that I enjoyed the show allot and would recommend

This show is pure, unadulterated fun. It knows what it is and it doesn't try to pretend to be anything else. The premise is silly and the cast plays it off. Captain Cold is excellent in this series. I liked him in Flash but he pretty much steals the show in this one. The action is pretty good and the special effects for this show actually looks the best among all of the WB shows. With that said, I'll definitely be tuning in for the second season.

I enjoyed this show, but not nearly as much as the better shows of this type that are out there. Parts of this show were interesting...the time travel, some of the characters (Rip Hunter, Captain Cold, the Atom), and some parts of this show were hard to sit through (the villain Vandal Savage, Hawkman, and especially HawkGirl, and the plot which many times just spun its wheels).
Season 2 worked out most of these kinks, however, and made for a much stronger show. Still, I would recommend starting at the beginning.

My son is a big fan of DC so it's no surprise that he's a fan of Legends of Tomorrow, but I actually watched the whole season with him except for a few episodes that I missed early on. Needless to say, I went back and watched them later because this show is super addictive and I just couldn't get enough of it! It's a great story line with the perfect balance of action, drama, and humor!! Now, thanks to the awesome Season One of Legends of Tomorrow, I'm now watching the current show on Thursday nights!!

Just when you thought those CW superhero shows couldn't get any wackier, they come out with the unlikely "Legends of Tomorrow". A "best of the rest" cast from the other CW superhero shows, it actually makes for a really fun and entertaining show. The cast is pretty big, but they each have their moments to shine. It's actually my favorite of the CW shows. Probably the most comicbooky show on air today.

Legends of Tomorrow is pretty good show that does a lot of things right and a few things poorly. It has a great premise, really good action scenes, and some really great characters but a really forced and abrupt romance and a mid-season slump really hurt the season.
The picture and sound quality of the bluray are great and it has some really cool special features, such as deleted scenes, a gag reel, and documentaries.

Coming off of the success of Arrow and The Flash, lightning struck a third time with Legends of Tomorrow. The show gives every character the chance to shine; Arthur Darvill is fantastic as Rip Hunter; and the chemistry between him and the established stars from Arrow & The Flash is great. You really want to root for them. Great special features on the collection. Can’t wait to get Season Two.

If you have read a lot of DC comics and are looking for a word for word retelling of your favorite superhero's stories, this is not made for you. This is s loose version of the DC universe. That is not a put down, this is fun and action packed. The creators do a brilliant job of balancing multiple storylines on a team show without relying on making an episode focus entirely on one character. Good stuff.

This is a show that catches a lot of the good parts that get left over from the Flash and Arrow universe. A lot of the characters that were well liked on the Flash and arrow shows found a new home here. It's a good mix of characters and actors and has a good over all plot line for season 1. It was a little slow of a start for me but came on stronger at the end. A good addition to any comic collection.

This series is part of the DC universe overlapping with Arrow and Flash. While watching the other series isn't necessary, they do give some background stories at length instead of just in passing. This show's visual effects are awesome, and its only working on a 1st season budget. The characters are entertaining and actually have good depth. This is one show you should binge watch.

I've waited so long for this! Great pacing. Mile a minute action. Back story on Rip Hunter. We live in great "times" LOL.
Wonderful to see Hawkman and Hawkwoman portrayed so well, despite their position at DC as second-rate heroes. The addition of Heatwave and Captain Cold makes for great fun as well. Everything you want from a comic book on the silver screen. I'm a fan!

The series started off a little slow, but it quickly started to grow on me. Maybe it was because I was expecting a combination of 'The Flash' and 'Arrow' series style to be the way this series was going to be, but clearly, they don't compare. Once I made myself realize that, that's when it started getting better and better. Season two looks like its gonna be hot. Can't wait.

I really like this show. Shows that just because you may have super powers you may not have a handle on them right away, which it's the way it should be. Don't pay any attention to the online haters & bashers of this show, it's moving along just the way it should. Oh buy the way they don't need to bring in Superman. This show is titled SUPERGIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This show has a lot of great acting on it, let alone the writing is original and funny at times. I love time travel movies or shows, but this one puts a different spin on that. It has to do with the other CW shows of course, but you can still relate with the show even without following the other shows for the most part. Great special effects also.

Taking place in the same universe as the CW's Arrow and Flash, Legends is the sister show, taking a more sci-fi approach. I watched the premier because I enjoy the other two, and this one is just as entertaining. The only disclaimer I would have is make sure you have seen the first 3 seasons of Arrow, and the 1st season of Flash before starting Legends.

If you enjoy the superhero genre or pre-existing DC comics shows on the CW, then I think you would find DC's Legends of Tomorrow enjoyable. I like that it overlaps with the "Arrow" and "the Flash" series. Although, the show stands fine on its own when compared to the aforementioned series. It arrived on time and in great condition.
