There are two listings for this movie on this website. I bought the other one first. The sound is great for that one but the picture quality is not very good. I bought THIS ONE hoping for a better picture and I got it! This one has a Much Better picture. I realize this is an old film but you still want the best picture you can get as you’re paying for an HD BLU RAY. If you’re unsure, this one is better than the other listing. And this movie is just as terrifying as ever! Yea!

This movie is so scary,it makes both The Walking Dead, and The Night of The Living Dead look like Sesame Street. Potters Bluff welcomes, kills, then resurrects tourists,so they are evil citizens. And the ending is so scary, well, its a good horror flick that's too good to miss. A must see for all horror buffs!

Yet another Dan O'Bannon treasure. this is a fun horror film that is loaded with a ton of subtext and, as is with O'Bannon, there is a wonderful amount of Dark Humor. A real treat for any good horror fan

I was really hoping this would actually scare me, be foreboding, anything other than a standard 'undead' movie. It started promising, the opening theme was very good, and the beach scene was well-done. The movie bogged down and was not too suspenseful. I guessed the "final thing" : no shocker there! I'll give it a 7 out of 10.

~ DEAD AND BURIED 4K deluxe edition ~

This Limited Edition 4K/Blu-ray/CD of the soundtrack is the BEST way to go for this one! The movie on 4K looks the best it is ever going to get. It's a 40-year-old horror movie that still holds up. There are a few familiar faces from the era of 1981. The blonde actress of the group is none other than that from An Officer and a Gentleman. Jack Albertson stars as the crazed scientist behind the entire town. Melody Anderson, from FLASH GORDON (1980) stars as the wife of the Sheriff, played by James Farentino, THE FINAL COUNTDOWN (1980). The Sheriff is on to the recent murders occurring in the town and an investigation turns up some disturbing revelations. This is a brand new edition and a good one to own!! The soundtrack is outstanding as well. This one comes with the fantastic lenticular slipcover!
