Just how I remember it when I first saw it. Gritty and dark. Been looking for this Depp movie for ages!

I'm a fan of all three of the above-mentioned individuals' work, but not across the board. The mix of whimsy & seriousness that Jarmusch often brings to the table plays out quite well in this art-house look at the American western. With Johnny Depp as our unwitting guide and Neil Young serving up a beautiful, ethereal soundtrack of original, instrumental music we take a sweet & bittersweet trip across the gorgeous black & white landscape of our frontier past.

this is a great movie Johnny Depp is a wonderful actor with a vast range. A must have for any Depp fan.

This was a good movie, but I don't think many Depp movies are bad.

Was a crazy and trippy movie. Great cast. A must watch.

Highly atmospheric cinematography counterpointed by exquisite Neil Young guitar cadenzas. Securely in the "underground Western" tradition of "McCabe and Mrs. Miller".

Very different from his other movies and you have to have an imagination and an open mind to enjoy this. We liked it very much.

Jim Jarmusch's black and white acid western is both funny and moving.

I didn't much care for the way this one was put together, however it had some character, humor and it draws you in just to see what happens in the end, however a little too boring for me.

It is Johnny depp. A must for fans of Johnny Depp.

Boy...I like johnny dep but I think in the process of trying to be artsy this movie missed its mark. I really struggled to finish it. It moves pretty slow and some bizarre tarantino like scenes. Sorry...my opinion. I am a fan of offbeat movies but this one was a waste of time. appeared to be low budget. I think it was a film festival movie.

Not one of Johnny Depp's best films. Could have found a better way to waste my time then watch this.

Jim Jarmusch's black and white acid western is a bit long in the tooth but ultimately satisfying. Great "score" by Neil Young.
