The original was one of my favorite games with many playthroughs on multiple consoles. I am glad to play again with this remake which is overall, a better game. Graphics, sound, game mechanics like enemies skin peeling, are all great editions. I Recommend playing in darkness with the volume as loud as possible. No movie or video game has ever made me jump before. This is a unique factor while playing and adds to the enjoyment. The PC version does have a few mods, but I am primarily a console gamer and purchasing this for $30 was the cheapest I have seen for the PS5. Either way, a must play!

EA not messing up a remake ?!?! WHATTTTTTTT?? Yes sir you heard that right ea let Motive loose and they gave us this sci fi horror atmospheric masterpiece ! What makes this game great ? Jump scares ? Space ?? it’s the story , characters, Environment , gameplay . Its like alien isolation in terms of solid atmosphere and dread. Can’t wait for the 2nd!

The game was a super fun game so far, the graphics are on par with most modern games.the storyline is very interesting with tons of lore drops in the middle of the game. The controls are mostly good I do have trouble sometimes with basic controls like shotting and aiming but I just change my controls. Overall, it’s a great game with great gameplay, the story is fire, the graphics are amazing for something that came out 10-15 years ago, and the story is very nice

The Dead Space remake is a must play for action/horror/sci-fi fans. Perfect for new players experiencing the franchise for the first time, and there's plenty of surprises for returning fans. The graphics and sound are top tier. Everyone should buy this game, so they'll be convinced to remake part 2.

Survival Horror blended with action. Insanely good gun play and unique methods for killing mutants. The Ishimura is just a sight too behold, a place that will live in your mind for years after you finish this game. Psychological thriller mixed with Sci-fi. It's all there in this remake that looks better than ever and runs at a solid 60 frames per second, it takes an already amazing game and makes it vastly superior to the original. If you haven't played this game, you should definitely jump in now.

I usually dislike remakes, & I do NOT like that EA killed Visceral Games, but I hafta say, this Motive remake utterly shocked me, because, not only is it true to the original, but it even improves on it in little ways -- just the right ways. A couple little side quests were added, ones that fit RIGHT INTO the story. Other little things were changed a wee bit & implemented (think of wee changes, such as GC's RE1). I highly recommend.

Adventure and fantastic story. Is really great how to face the space monsters. Only for adults.

I played the original PS3 version of this game many, many times and loved it back then. This remaster is, to my surprise, much more than just a "remaster". The new HD graphics are absolutely gorgeous, but the big surprise was the additional physical puzzles they sprinkled in to give the entire experience an update for more modern gaming audiences. 10/10

Even if you played the original one back in the day this will feel brand new all over again not only is it very immersive, but they added more things to do such as side quests and it does not take away from the experience at all! This game was redone from the ground up it is not a port! The only thing I have noticed is they did not include Ray tracing, however a game like this doesn't really need it, they did a good job with the lighting to make up for it! I never played the original but this was a great horror thriller and it makes me really want them to remake the other titles!!!

This game is a classic! It's a remake from the original and that game is also a classic. Great price so I had to get it for gaming collection!

Worth purchasing just to treat as a vote towards letting companies know that good remakes are appreciated and to not be lazy. It’s dope and aged so well.

This game is remade from earlier years and has so much better graphics. The story line is as amazing as before. Highly recommend!

I didn’t know a masterpiece could be remade into an even better masterpiece! The controls are phenomenal, the scares are even scarier, and the combat is exquisite! The only thing that needs improving is my blood pressure. I loved the original, but daaaaaang they really knocked the remake into the future! A must-play if you never have before AND a must-play if you experienced the original. Hold on to your butts!

Exquisite remaster! This game is an outstanding example of a remastered classic video game! The updated visuals along with additional content are greatly appreciated! I recommend this game for anyone new or that is an experienced fan.

i went in with an open mind for this game. as a long time fan of this game, the remake exceeded my expectations and did not disappoint! i definitely love this remake more than the original! i highly recommend past dead space fans or new fans of the game to give it a look! worth the money!

This title is a great remake to an already great title. In addition to a being a great game, this remake comes with better graphics and other subtle changes and upgrades to make the game even better. For example, the zero gravity controls have made it easier to navigate through. It’s too bad that the steel book for this game seems to only be an exclusive to Australia.
