Let’s get all of the cons out of the way first. Horrible frame rate, glitches, controls, graphics and voice acting. Now the pros, all of it seems to coalesce into a perfect storm of B movie tropes that make it interesting. From the moment you begin playing you’re waiting to see what is going to happen next. Just when you think it can’t get worse, the game surprises you with a 50/50 chance of actually being worse or being so much better. My entire experience has been a gamble and overall I’d say the game is worthy of being on the shelf as a novelty.

It still has that great story telling like the first game some of us seem to enjoy and the ok ish game play. Good thing i am reviewing it now because I would added same technical issues but the developer patch this game so it plays smoother than the first game so for people who are afraid to try it you don't have to worry anymore he listened.

this game continues the adventures of Agent York in the Deep South. If you enjoyed the zaniness and quirky story of the first you will not be disappointed. The game has a low frame rate and some technical issues but they didn't hinder my enjoyment of the game. Swery has done it again.

The game is ok and the story and characters were very enjoyable but the technical issues brought that joy down a bit. Seems like with patches it is now very good.

A must have if you own the original. Great creepy story like twin peaks the series. Very relaxing to play and since the graphics are crappy, you get that retro PS1 90's feeling which contributes in a way to its greatness. Great purchase.

I am a fan of the original game and actually purchased it physically for the Nintendo switch even though I had it on other systems. Don’t get me wrong, overall it’s a very glitchy and even experience but the story and wackiness of it all made it fun. It’s not overly excited when they announced a sequel as I was afraid they were going to just try to mimic the first. We wacky for wackiness sake. Purchased a physically and it’s pretty much what I expect. I don’t think the developers really knew why the first game caught on as a cult classic and by intentionally trying to copy that instead of focusing on this as a time game really hurt the overall product. I actually think it’s a decent looking game and I think the voice acting is good. Everything elseIt’s just infuriating Lee bad to mediocre. Giving it to stars because I really do enjoy the story and voice acting but not recommend unless you’re collector and just want to have this game physically on the switch sitting next to your copy of the original

Great series of games! I hope they do another one at some point. Fans of old school style horror games will like it and it’s a must buy on the switch.

B Roll film made into a video game: Part 2. I went into it for the cult classic following so I could enjoy the game without any expectations... but MANNNNN corniness aside, it takes but a good 30 mins just to get past all the random talking, and investigating to get to some gameplay action! I mean a big dragged on... Also the game overall is for the Cult followers, and I dig that idea of a good story within a funny way of putting things, but it is a trOUGE to get through... so be ready for a bit of text skimming. I think the voice actors are of that B rated quality and sometimes enjoyable to read, but mostly just garbage text written in that nature to appeal to those fans... sure I get it. I'm hoping to enjoy the rest of the gameplay, and the story is interesting enough for an odd scifi interest at the very least. I just dig the aesthetics and atmosphere of it all...

If you like the off beat nature of TWIN PEAKS that has some real strange mysteries and unique characters. Check this out. Its a very unique mystery game. It is recommended to have played the first game, which is also available, to understand the characters a bit better.

The game got many negative reviews, but it is always good to try things for yourself. I knew what I was getting into when I bought this and did not regret it. If you can get it for cheap, I would say take the plunge and buy it.

This is not a triple A game. The fun in this game lies in how offbeat and weird it is and it's incredibly charming. The first one is heavily inspired by Twin Peaks and this one is just more of them same (which is a very good thing). The map/game world is smaller than in the first. The first game's map was big and empty, while this one is smaller but more full. The framerate is very low. It was worse before but it's been patched, but it's still not that great. You're not playing this game because of the graphics or snazzy tech specs. If you liked the first Deadly Premonition despite its technical shortcomings, you'll probably enjoy this game too.

Reminds me of the first game, the story is really great, with a few funny visual jank moments. The graphics don't feel 2020 but when I am playing it it doesn't really bother me. Feels kinda nostalgic, you know? If you go in with no expectations and have played the first one I think you are in for a good time.

Man, I loved Deadly Premonition. I could overlook the choppy frame rate because the story was great. DP2 was just ridiculously bad in it's performance. I can usually look past these things, like Bayonetta on PS3 I got through just fine. But this was in a whole different level. Sure they might patch it to make it more stable but it was in noway ready for release.

The first game was such an iconic game, this sequel is just more of the same that make the first the cult hit it was. It doesn't reach the heights of the first but is a good and entertaining sequel. I enjoyed playing it a lot

The game is good, well, it is a love/hate it situation. But the story and everything it represents is unique and you have to experience it.
