Definitely not for the faint hearted this series is no wonderland but a brutal crazy mess with characters that possess unique- albeit *gory* abilities trying to find a way out of becoming deadmen. Although incomplete (the irony here is that its the complete series with a no ending due to the studio going bankrupt or something) the offering here should satisfy those with a lust for horror action gore.

This is censored but it's the only version available to buy in the U.S. It is as uncensored as Japan was able to allow it to be. I don't care to give a review of the show itself because that's not what the review asks for but please know if you've never seen this before, it is not the whole story. It will seem confusing. Unfortunately they are not making anymore seasons as far as I know so this is it. If you want to understand, you NEED to read the entire manga. The show leaves off around volume 4 of the manga. The first time I watched this when it was on toonami I didn't understand it. But then I read the manga and low and behold, it all makes sense. If you love it as much as I do, read the manga. It's worth it and it goes deeper into Shiro's back story. Which is pretty much what this is all about.

This is probably the most delightfully vulgar anime I have watched. It has good story lines and good characters. The fighting style can seem like a few others and the main gimmick kind of gets forgotten a few times, but it is still a lot of fun. I recommend it for any anime fan to try out.

Great Anime that was sadly cut short (Manglobe went bankrupt) and ended being very rushed in terms of story/plot. Maybe one day it will get the full season and proper treatment it deserves.

My friends have recommended I watch this series. I missed this show when it had its run on Toonami but after looking up the trailers on youtube it looks very interesting. Another plus is that buying the blu ray is you get to see it uncut verses seeing it on TV.

It's really sad this show didn't do well in Japan so there might have been more episodes because it's really good, violent, engaging, and beautifully animated, deadman wonderland is a must have for anime fans.

Deadman Wonderland is really good. It is one of the bloddiest and most violent anime series ever. It has some pretty strong language, but not as strong as the language in the Black Lagoon series.

Good price for a whole season of anime, considering that a lot of times producers will cheap out on you by releasing one season over multiple separate disks.

I thought the series itself was kind of short but that's the way it is with a lot of anime. Overall it is a solid show and definitely worth the time.

I kinda like the thrill, the suspense, and the action part better, but the blood and gore pretty grosses me out.
