The Successful Formula continues

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Season 12 is a fun mix of formula police procedural mysteries and characters’ personal stories. Writing and performances maintain their quslity. But the result is more entertaining than some recent years. Detective Inspector Neville Parker’s emotional growth is tested by a romance that starts as a con and becomes something else. Two murders are involved, too. Commissioner Selwyn Patterson copes with meeting a grown daughter he knows nothing about. There is a wedding with a murder, too. Add in Christmas and a sergeant’s exam. Not to mention life and scenery on the idyllic island of Saint Marie. Season 12 left me looking forward to season 13.
