Death Proof is a funny-horror movie, that takes Kurt Russell back to his roots of being action junkee. If you saw this movie as a double-feature, than you know this is better of two. Non-stop craziness, and ending that will have you crying-laughing for more.

I was expecting this movie to be worth the ticket price, and it was! The scene toward the beginning of the movie that is one continuous shot is impressive. And the car chase scenes are amazing! I would recommend this movie to any action fan.

although it isnt fair that grindhouse was split to two DVD's. the movie still stands alone strong. It is extremely fun to watch. The characters are lovable. Dialogue is real and believable. Definitely worth a DVD purchase. The plot is amazing as it basically brings back the old B movies. Buy this movie. You wont be sorry.

Not sure where "Planet Terror" is, but this type of movie making has been criminally ignored. It's gritty, nasty, violent, fun. Throw PC out the window, relax, butter up that popcorn and have a good time with a movie that is NOT going to preach to you. Sound good? I thought so. Now where the he** is Planet Terror?

I thought the movie was just alright both times I saw it (with and without the 2-feature Grindhouse). I liked that the lap dance scene was included and the final climax was great. However, to those who hate that this isn't a part of the Grindhouse experience, I've read that this was the plan all along... from Tarantino. Grindhouse was only intended for a States release while Planet Terror and Death Proof were going to be released separately all along overseas. It was also the intent of doing the same on DVD. So, I have no problem with paying for both separately since you're actually getting longer movies with some decent extras.

Loved the way it was filmed like the drive in movies. Easy to follow the story lines. The crash and chase scenes were awesome. But I was left with wanting more. Would not recommend this movie for the weak of heart

This movie is great. Although it's definitely not Tarantino's best, It's still a very fun movie. If you don't like a lot of dialog I might avoid this but it's worth it in the end when it all leads up to an 18 minute car chase with a girl on top of one of the cars. The special features are nice too.

The movie was good. i was suppose to go to sleep early last night, but the movie kept me awake. it has great car action scenes. i compare this car action pack movie as good as the car action in the movie Ronin.

This movie surprised me quite a bit. It's not for the faint of heart, but man it's a rush, and actually yet another of Quentin's "girls get revenge" movies that I love so much.

When watching this, you can tell this was a passion project for Tarantino. Kurt Russell and the rest of the cast give great performances in this "high octane thrill ride."

i very well done film and im not real into these kind of movie but i was surprised so now i cant wait till planet terror comes out then will see if im going to start being a grindhouse fan

The film was true the film noir but that days of those kinds of films have come and gone. I am a huge cult film fan and can appreciate any film that has had a lot of thought put into it. The writing was supperb I do not think I have listen to a movie with such a great dialogue. That been said, if you decide to watch this film at night you better have taken in lots of caffeine because the slow pace of this film will put you to sleep.

I bought this movie the day it was released, and watched at home that same day. I was not very impressed with this movie. Would recommend people to rent not buy Deathproof. Huge fan of Tarantino films, "Pulp Fiction," "Jackie Brown," "Kill Bill 1 & 2," and "From Dusk Til Dawn." Just not very impressed with this moive. The girls conversations seemed to resemble those of Jewels and Vincents in "Pulp Fiction," but these girls were not as comical or good. The Planet of Terror movie looks like "a dog in a pony show."

This movie is great from start to finish... Blu Ray makes it that much better!!

I loved this movie! Truly the plot line was thin but this is supposed to be a grindhouse flick. Thin plot line or not, this film has the BEST car chase since Steve McQueen! Buy it!

you pay 8 dollars to watch both movies in the theater and you pay 40 bucks for both movies, no doubt the movies are great, I'll wait until they both come out on one disk for 20 bucks.....

i love this movie it's somewhat tedious in the beginging but it gets better.. the ending is amazing..i love it i'm definetly adding it to my collection of DVDs
