I can not believe there are people out there that like this movie! Death Proof is TERRIBLE! I LOVED Planet Terror but seeing this dud second really put a bad taste in my mouth and put me off seeing movies for a long time afterwards. There is little doubt in my mind that Death Proof is the reason Grindhouse died at the boxoffice. This film is filled with characters you wish WOULD die and since this film was promoted as a Slasher Film I expected it to fulfill that promise but do not be misled by false advertising; this is a car chase film and nothing more! Badly written, badly acted and a complete bore, do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!

I bought this movie, without seeing it first, because I like Quentin Tarintino and Kurt Russell. This movie however, is not worthy of either of them. If you like sitting there for 2 hours watching unrealistic girl talk, then this movie is for you. If you are looking for a good action movie, than avoid this one like the plague!

This movie was a major let down, I was expecting non stop action. Instead 80% of the movie was girls sitting around, well talking about girl stuff. This movie only had about 20 decent minutes of action. I would not recommend this movie to anyone.

QT should be embarrassed to make this piece of garbage. It's slow and boring. Only the last 10 minutes are good. Don't waste your time.
