    Saw this when it was in the theaters. That was a long time ago and i had forgotten a lot of it. The concept is good. The acting was terrible with the tiny possible exception of Stallone. It's good to have as an example of just how far movies have progressed.

    Since seeing on cable in '78 and owning in VHS/DVD since the 80s, this is the coolest grindhouse movie ever. And Simone Griffith and Roberta Collins............

    I never thought 'Death Race 2000' would get special edition dvd treatment. Well, I'm glad it has, because it's an interesting movie to say the least. While not everyone will enjoy this feature, those who are fans are sure to delight in the widescreen transfer and several bonus goodies included. Recommended.
