This game is mildly disappointing, but that's probably only because it's living in the shadows of Prey and Dishonored 2. The time loop concept for this game is really neat, and the PVP aspect of this game is enticing, but the gameplay execution for both aspects is lacking. I wish the puzzle solving element for figuring out the time loop were more involved, more complicated, and more difficult. And the PVP matchmaking system DESPERATELY needs some sort of ping filter; playing as Julianna is a nightmare if you get matched with 1: a player who has an unstable connection or 2: a player who just lives really far away from you. That said, this is still an enjoyable experience, and I don't regret buying it one bit; at the very least, it will help make sure this team gets to make more games. Another game like Prey please!

Best way to get discounts and still get the game for PC is buying these "physical" releases. So happy Best Buy still offers these options. They beat the price on other sites too. Definitely looking forward to playing this! It has a ton of nominations at the VGA this year. I have kept up with the update history and apparently the most recent update adds a lot of quality of life updates and boosts performance.

Was a big fan of the first 2 Dishonored games. I didn't like Prey despite all the media praise. Deathloop continues that trend unfortunately. For whatever reason, I just can't get into it. I don't find the character banter, world or enemies all that interesting, which is exactly how I felt about Prey. When I learned there was only one way to solve the 'death loop', I immediately lost interest. It's a neat concept, but wouldn't pay full price for this game. It's a discount buy at best.

Great game, but nothing that's going to change your life. Ignore all the "10/10 GOTY" reviews - this is a great game, but a deeply flawed and oftentimes tedious one.

An interesting concept for a game overall, but a weak ending

Very few studio can branch out and not make a repeatative type of games but they did it and is great for next gen console and pc alike that have the hardware to showcase it amazing graphics anyway BUY IT if you read this far.

Really good game. It is oretty well optimized for PC but i was left a little wanting for stuff to do once i ran through the game once.

My personal game of the year. Combat is fun and voice actors are great.

Like a lot of games that get a lot of hype about how awesome they are, this game becomes a little tiring after several hours. Kind of a rinse, wash, repeat type of game. For me I prefer a little more of a challenge.

Deathloop is a horrible breakfast cereal. I prefer classic Cheerios.

Great game and a little different from what I am used to, Story is great, dialogue is awesome, especially between the main characters. One of the best games of the year and that has came out the last few years.

Great game, best way to play it of couse it has be on pc. It is practically a rogue like shooter game.

Buggy lqunch and few month of bug fixes to make game great

I wanted to like this game. I kinda do but it's repetitive which sucks. Get it on sale.

Unfortunately, this game just doesn’t do it for me. I ended up confused with the story. The mechanics can be a little complicated and I found it hard to relate or connect with the motivations of the characters. There are several cheap ways to die that seem a bit unfair and the AI is not great at all. It's still a fun idea and I wish they had explored it a bit more.

Solid, but not a perfect game. Interesting concept though.
