We purchased this knife set on sale for a really great price. We wouldn’t have paid the original price as it was steep. The package arrived slightly smushed upon arrival, but the products inside were intact. Knives are great & were carefully packaged. The knife block/holder has a minor defect (not an issue for us) due to the sides not being glued together correctly, so there’s a small gap, but it still stands just fine & we use this knife set everyday. We love it. The scissor set & knife sharpener have plastic handles, but the color/design match the wood on the rest of the utensils
