Amazing Performances In This Iconic Musical

MGM's stellar production of Deep In My Heart brought out many of the best stars of the 1950s musical movie era. Jose Ferrer carries the main role, playing Broadway composer Sigmund Romberg with great energy and show-stopping performances. You'll also see and hear his then-wife Rosemary Clooney. The story is easy-going and entertaining. Sets and costumes take a major role in this A-Grade production. Performers Jane Powell, Vic Damone, Gene and Fred Kelly, Cyd Charisse (another fantastic choreographed performance), Merle Oberon, Helen Traubel (great singer and actress), Ann Miller, Howard Keel, Tony Martin (Cyd's real life husband), and the talent list goes on--give their all in wonderful, entertaining performances. What's not to like? This is another fun musical.
