It was a good movie. I would recommend it for a movie night

I saw this in the theater when it came out. I didn’t appreciate it enough at the time. The actors are great. The pacing is great. It’s loud, is jumpy and sounds great on the proper AV system. Whoever is looking for some good popcorn fun that can be enjoyed with the whole family this is it.

Deep Rising won't make any "best of" lists, but is still a fun and over-the-top action/horror/thriller from the director of the 99' version of The Mummy (which I've always loved). It's a B movie classic with fun characters, a crazy monster and plenty of gore. If that sounds good to you, grab this release.

Glad to have found an upgrade to this movie on blu ray. Looks better than on DVD, fun monster movie with lots of action and fun characters. Nice to see both good and bad guys get little moments here and there to bring them to life more.

Have had the bare bones DVD for awhile, been hoping it would eventually get a double dip. This blu ray has 2 fantastic commentary tracks and a lot of great behind the scenes featurettes. This is a great B movie from the director of The Mummy (Brendan Fraser not Tom Cruise)

This is a great movie and finally given the anniversary edition it deserves. Picture and sound are transferred very good and special features are Just enough. A great monster movie for anyone that likes the old ray harryhausen movies...

Treat Williams never got the respect he deserved, but in this movie, you can see his wit and charm. An old fashion creature feature with humor and thrills. Needs to be seen.

Saw this in theatres as a kid, glad to own it 20+ years later and enjoy again as it's hard to find on tv.

This is a super fun monster movie from the 90's. Kino did a great job with new packaging and transfer.

An over the top oldie but goldie. A lot more cheezy than I remembered! Great Video Quality!

This is a better than average monster movie. As in most such movies, there are things that really don't make much sense, especially near the end. But generally it moves along so fast that you don't have time to notice. The plot sort of mashes together bits of several better movies. And Treat Williams is very much "a generic hero" with a little catchphrase which quickly becomes annoying. But the special effects are very good, even years later, there are several memorable death scenes, and Famke is always nice to watch. If you have a taste for it, this is 3.5 of 5 on the sushi scale.

Deep Rising is one of the best SciFi movie's ever. this action-thriller will have you at the edge of your seat through the whole movie.

I loved this movie! It was great from start to finish. Bigtime name cast and non-stop action!
