Was very suprised on how good this movie really was. I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. Wish I would have seen it on the big screen first, but enjoyed it on my big screen TV. I would recommend this movie if you like lots of action, fires and screaming.

As an oilfield worker this film presents a good depiction. It isn’t accurate of the actual work that goes on, but it does a great job of showing how difficult and heart wrenching that whole catastrophe encompassed. I would recommend this movie to anyone.

This was a great action movie. The first 15 minutes or so moved slowly and could have been cut back. While we know things are factionalized to some degree, the procedural action from the enormous heliport to the rescue was excellent with the story line building in intensity. An excellent 4k HDR presentation also heightened the later action scenes. Sound really helped defined the disaster sequences.

The cause and events that led to the 2010 Deepwater Horizon explosion is chronicled in this movie. It goes though the timeline of events that lead to the loss of life and the heroic efforts of the men and woman who lived thought these events and how they suvived.

My favorite part of black Driday is the good sales they have on DVD movies and also newer mo use they came out quick on DVD. I purchased 7 DVD movies from $7-$9 dollars.

I really recommend this movies because its great and its base on a true story how safe we have to be when we are at work or other places for each other and make the right thing. Dont be cheap if you have a Company. You wont get richer then what you are allready.

good movie with fast paced action and well acted roles. Seemingly real people put in harms way.

Interesting to see the players/companies involved in this type of oil drilling. Not surprised that greed and incompetence led to the greatest loss of life and Gulf Coast environmental disaster in history. Showcases the bravery of men who just did their job.

Of course what made me want this movie the most is the lead actor. He is one of my favorite actors of modern movies. Not the most perfect subject to deal with considering the devestation of the real life situation but it made a good subject for this movie.

This movie was the best I've seen in a very long time! Mark Wahlberg is awesome and all the cast he chose to use was excellent. A very action packed movie and keeps you interested in watching from the very beginning! I highly recommend seeing this movie!!

I bought this movie for my husband as a gift and I ended up enjoying it just as much as my husband. It was a great movie based on a horrible event in history.

I wanted to watch this movie because I work in the oil field and was at the site of this accident shortly after the first explosion. I was not disappointed in the movie at all. This director takes pride in keeping the movie as realistic as possible.

If you are a fan of "based on a true story" disaster films, this one is a good one! We enjoyed watching this in theaters and now in 4K. Good picture and sound!

This is a great movie about a huge oil spill down in the gulf that could have possibly been prevented if they would have just followed all the protocols that the were supposed to and not have been so worried about lining their pockets with money.

This is a great movie in 4k Great Sound excellent picture as a lot of good characters in it and it's based on a true story they're Heroes that walk amongst us that we don't know of come out and shine when things like this happen excellent movie

I don't know why, but I did not realize this was about the BP disaster a few years ago. It was very well done, and respectful. I was pleased to see they made it about the people on the platform, and not just some action film for the sake of action.

Great action and visual effects and from what I know of the event seems fairly accurate. Good human interest and character portraits keeps the story moving; well done by capable actors. Only weakness that bothered me was that the movie assumes we know about deep water oil drilling and I found myself asking 'why' they were doing certain things, a little flustered. Would recommend.

Wanted to go see this movie in the theaters and never got the chance. Once it got on blu ray I bought it and it's well worth it. I am a mark whalberg fan and Dylan O Brien so I knew this eventful story would be even better with these two in it.

Nice to see the truth and details behind this horrific accident. Gives a good idea on how these rigs are managed and maintained. Another great movie for Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Russel, Kate Hudson, and John Malkovich. Thrilling and suspenseful.

The movie has a lot of good A-list actors. The accuracy of the lingo and the look of the rig is impeccable. The action scenes are not over the top, but not under done. Over all, it's a great movie and I'd watch it again.
