Great movie! I love movies about actual events and this one certainly doesn't disappoint! Great acting, great directing and great pacing from beginning to end!

Great movie about actual events related to corporate greed and the shortcuts that resulted in loss of life, injuries and the destruction of the environment and creatures that live in oceans. Very intense movie.

After working on oil rigs for years and being off shore in the Gulf of Mexico the day this event happened. Many friends and family have asked me about this movie. I haven't watched all the extras yet, but forward to doing so.

Deepwater Horizon depicts true BP events off the coast of Louisiana. Mark Walhberg and Kate Hudson were very believable couple portraying the real family involved! It was nice to see Kurt Russell again and with his daughter!

I remember when the Deepwater Horizon had its accident and was in the news but nobody covered the human side of it like this. VERY exciting, and tragic, and heroic. All the more amazing because of those who lived through it.

What DWH lacks in character development, it makes up for in pure mindless fun. A ton of explosions and some human drama amid the worst disaster in oil drilling history make this a pretty decent waste of nearly 2 hours. No Oscar-worthy performances here, but Peter Berg makes the characters interesting enough for us to feel for what they went through.

It happened once folks, it will happen again. The movie brings that home. A disaster in human and ecological terms and as a Florida resident, we're still paying the price. All that aside, I'd watch it again, the movie is that good, and the fx are more realistic than intrusive. Wahlberg does a great job of combining heroism and humanism. Well done.

Peter Berg seems to get it right with Mark Walburg. I tend to gravitate towards the telling of these tragic events in history by Berg because he can engage an audience and Walburg seems to fit in these puzzles.

The cast is terrific and spot on. It shows the courage and endurance of the people who work on those off shore rigs. It is a very good movie. The fire effects were awesome. A movie that deserves repeat viewing in 4k.

I must have been living under a rock in 2010. I do not recall this story on the news at all. In any event after researching the story and watching the movie I have to say it was nicely done. Intense. A really good cast. The 4K transfer was not bad but I have seen better. The sound was really great though. All in all a really good movie.

Great movie about a real world event. Lots of high quality special affects and seeing it in blue ray really makes a difference. A must see and buy it.

I really enjoyed this movie. Tom Hanks was in top form as usual and the surprises were just that surprises and totally unexpected. I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoyed his other two movies of a similar bent.

This is an excellent movie. It had me on the edge of my seat for almost all of the movie. I live in Louisiana and know what happened, through the media and the court system. It was a very accurate portrayal of the facts.

Very intense movie. Love the graphics and special effects. Not too over the top and believable. Might be a little to intense for younger children. Overall well put together movie. Video very clear and vivid color.

I thought the movie was well done. Showed that the ordinary worker was concerned for the welfare of fellow workers. Of course there was the blame on the company rightfully so but the average worker was doing his/her job.

Very good move and at a good price. Has both Blu-Ray and Digital discs. Top actors and based on actual event. Blu-Ray has very clear picture.

Great movie, exciting to watch bc the film is based on a true story; to know this actually happened makes it more impactful of a story.

Great story, well told and played. Lots of action and dramatic moments. The stunts were done very well and kept me on the edge of my seat. Kurt Russel, Mark Wahlberg and the rest of the cast and crew were spectacular.

I saw this movie in the theater and loved it. So, I had to buy it when it came out, and it's still as good. Very intense, great acting, and the explosion is insane. I don't know why more people don't like this film.

I really like this movie, based on a true story . Has great sound and picture effects. Its a great movie to have specially if you work in the oil industry like i do it makes you think what might happen at work.
